Does anyone else find it interesting that the Solar Eclipse is happening the same day as the New Moon? It starts waxing on Wednesday. I would think that this would give additional charging or manifesting energies. Anyone have thoughts? IP: Logged |

Sweetie, a solar eclipse can only happen on a new moon it is when the sun moon and earth line up in that order. Likewise, a lunar eclipse can only happen on a full moon. Eclipses happen when a new moon or full moon happen somewhat close to the transit North Node or in the opposite side of the zodiac close to transit south node. You can't see the south node in a chart. It is however in direct opposition to the NN. Welcome to LL

OMG I feel so silly. I knew about the Lunar eclipse. I should have thought that through more. I do know about the nodes on the chart, but didn't actually envision them in the sky. Thank you for the clarification, I appreciate it! Live and learn. Is there anything else you can tell me about the energy put out by solar eclipses? I know this was an annular eclipse so it wasn't a true total eclipse. I'm such a moon person so I tend to pay much more attention to the moon cycles. IP: Logged |

You were using that eager "i just had a brilliant realization" voice in the earlier post and I just couldn't bring myself to squash it. We all have those blonde moments I don't know much about the effects of the different types of solar eclipses :/ IP: Logged |

The Nodes are X marks of the spot where the apparent paths of the Sun and Moon meet on the Ecliptic.IP: Logged |
