Sun in male, Neptune female. Who would be more smitten/disillusioned/rosy-eyed for who, Sun or Neptune? I've done my research and opinions seem to be mixed.

Edit: Conjunction is in Capricorn.

Usually, planet idealizes Neptune, but in the case of the Sun, because of its radiant light, I guess it would be mutual, even a little bit reversed. Neptune would feel very dreamy and Neptunian in the presence of the Sun, as if discovering his Neptunian qualities in the presence of the Sun. Sun brings light to the planet it touches, like the sunrise suddenly lightening a room: we see all the details of that room, including the not so pleasant things, in this case, the negative Neptunian qualities of that person. Bottom line, Neptune can't hide his/her Neptune in the presence of the Sun.

Female here. I was sun conjunct a male ex's Neptune. In hindsight, he fed me whatever image I needed to see in order for us to continue the beautiful mirage we had created together. I also really enjoyed shining my personality for him.

I've been Neptune in other situations. I get why he did what he did. I am sure the Neptune energy can be used positively as well.
