I constantly get compliments..and have been told I'm really good at decorating although I'm not a professional...apatite fly my chart says it would be a good profession for me.
Venus rules my 5th, lots of neptune's Leo mars..not sure what other placements would do it. IP: Logged |

Virgo ruling the 4th house maybe because it gives a person a critical eye with everything.
Taurus/Libra on the 4th house cusp because they like beauty in their surroundings.
Venus in the 4th house (I think) would give the same effect as Libra or Taurus in the 4th house.
Venus in aspect with the Moon because the Moon rules the home and Venus adds an eye for beauty.IP: Logged |

Well, if you like minimalist design then I am good at that. If you like comfy home interiors then I'm terrible at that. Leo Sun and Venus. Venus rules my 5th (Libra)
I'm currently doing a rustic motif with bright, modern elements and a prairie twist. Lots of baskets and lanterns and driftwood, but a red futon couch, Loloi (Madeline MZ-04) rug, Safavieh wicker coffee and end tables and custom pottery. I ordered Ikat pillowcases from Uzbekistan (must be original or it won't do). This is just for the living room  4th house ruled by perfectionist Virgo, so if it's not perfect, I'll burn the house down and start anew. ------------------

Decorating is my favorite part of moving anywhere new. I did help my mom alot with decorating our apartment and I had already pre-planned how I wanted my room to look (colors, furniture set up, etc.) and it turned out just the way I had in mind even though I had never been to the apartment and only seen a picture of the layout. I also had everything set up nicely in my dorm too without ever having seen it.
If I were to describe my style, it's more-so like IKEA than Art Van (if you've ever heard of that place). I like simple furniture that is easy to use but I'm not a fan at all of big bulky furniture that alot of people use to just take up space.
Anyways, to answer your question:
Other than Virgo/Libra/Taurus influence maybe some Pisces/Neptune?

Virgo on the 4th and Venus in the 4th, I'm guessing.I have both and I love decorating houses and stuff, but I don't do it as a career or anything. I think I have a pretty good eye though for interior decorating, and my apartment that I got last year looks pretty nice imo lol. My mom always had to have a nice looking home, as in she loves decorating too and her friends have always complimented her on how she has a knack for putting everything in a good spot and buying things that compliment each other. So I think it's partly from her, but it's also my Virgo Venus/4th house placement. I like a clean home too, and I'm not incredibly super anal about cleaning, but I was always much cleaner than my siblings growing up lol. I'm into the bohemian/french/vintage look, and my apartment has a lot of red, yellow, brown/tan colors. If you've ever seen the French film Amelie, I was partially inspired by it.   ------------------
