Hmm. I've had both aspects.

But venus/mars hands down. Because a synastry aspect to either my mars (conjunct pluto) or venus (conjunct MC) would be very prominent and promising in my chart.

Venus sextile venus was very nice because we both liked the same things and had the same values.

It depends on what I wanted out of the relationship. Pure unadulterated sexual attraction...Venus conjunct mars especially a guys Mars conjunct my Aries venus. Yum. I've only had this once and I was in a relationship at the time, it took everything in me and all my will power to not rip his clothes off every time I laid eyes on him lol

As for the Venus sextile, its nice. Its not urgent or enticing, its more like an "I understand you and I like you" aspect. Similar tastes and interests.. good for a long lasting romantic or friendly relationship.

Hi! I'm afraid Venus sextile venus aspect in synastry lacks the "spice"(if you get my flow XD) and Venus/Mars (thumbs up)

Well, do keep in mind that while it's definitely a spicy aspect, that it can also be fleeting.
The guy who had his Mars conjunct my venus was enticing, yes, but I was loyal to my boyfriend, who is now my fiancé, and we have Venus sextile Venus in our synastry.. Don't shy away from the Venus/Venus sextile, it really is a lovely thing to share with someone.

I like Venus/Venus sextile and trine. It helps develop friendship between two people. You have similar likes and dislikes and are more compatible. I have 2 guy friends with their Leo Venus trine my Venus and it's fun hanging out with him. We enjoy doing the same things. My ex's Libra Venus sext. my Venus and the relationship was fun. I somewhere wish I had that aspect with my partner.

I haven't experienced Venus/Mars conjunction/trine/sextile yet. The opposition was bad. The guy whose Mars opp. my Venus wanted sex but I wasn't interested so he tried using force

Venus/Venus does seem like a promising relationship opposed to venus/mars aspects. Thanks for sharing your experience! It did open my eyes.

hey, depth, Venus opp Mars can be an awesome aspect of beautiful attraction, especially if man's Mars on woman's Venus. If that man tried to force himself on you it's not because of this aspect but because he had problems himself.

man's Mars connecting with a woman's Venus in a synastry is like an archetype fulfilled, attraction at its best.

How about venus conjunct venus? What can you guys say about that aspect? Is the trine or sextile better than the conjunct?

I've met people who I have the Venus conjunction with, to me, this just basically means that you two are able to relate to each other better. You have similar tastes in regards to beauty, music etc. But I can't say it's actually better, they are somewhat the same. Venus conj Venus is also good for a relationship as it brings mutual understanding to two people, it's more of a ''Lets go outside and play tennis together'' aspect.

With Venus/Mars, Mars will get rough with Venus - he is too volatile to be left alone and that close to Venus. Mars, after all, is a bad a@@.

Venus conjunct Mars in Scorpio(I was the Venus person).

Since I have 7th house cusp Scorpio, the connection I expected to have was deep. But what ended up occurring was just sex.

I was the one that was being seduced. Mars was the confident one.Taking all the chances and making their intentions clear.

There is this dude who has Venus in Libra conjunct my Mars in Libra and every-time we meet,I just want to nail him.

In this respect, I can feel that I am the one who is "driving the car"-so to speak. I charm the pants off him and its obvious that surrender is imminent

I enjoy playing both roles. But being Mars is sooo much fun.

I've also had Venus conjunct Venus with a friend. What it builds is great rapport. We shared quite a bit. But I think that Moon-moon connection takes this up a notch.

Venus trine Venus was slightly better than the conjunction ,oddly .

The Venus in Cancer(his) trine my Venus in Scorpio showed itself when he brought the tenderness and I brought the "edge". I was mad crazy about him. We still love each other dearly and talk endlessly when we are together.

I think if one has Venus conjunct Mars and Venus trine Venus in synastry, this is powerful stuff. Add the Moon/Mars or Moon/Moon contact and you two will never want to be parted. Ever!

I see, so I guess they are quite the same in effect. Maybe the conjunction is just the strongest one in terms of influence. After all, it's a conjunction.

Does Venus sextile Venus in synastry still count if one persons Venus is in Gemini and the other in Pisces?

I have venus sextile mars with my current partner.

He’s mars.

We have a Sun-Venus DW as well along with a ton of other attraction factors so my answer might be bias.

But I think this aspect creates the yin-yang harmony. Your natural body rhythm is in sync with theirs, but it requires no effort.

CHEMISTRY.

Venus-mars creates chemistry.

Venus sextile mars comes with a lot of secual attraction also but adds a friendly touch to it. The focus isn’t solely on lust.

Moon/Mars and Sun/Mars does that for me.

Venus/Mars I would swop for Jupiter/Mars or Mercury/Mars when it comes to banter ime.

I have Venus sextile Venus and we like some of the same things. But not sextile signs I guess it still counts though.

Let's see, I've had a Venus-Mars conjunction with my last boyfriend, but I was Mars, it was a little uncomfortable.

With my current boyfriend, we have Venus-Venus conjunct seems to work quite well. Even for sexual attraction, but more importantly we have the same tastes and I obviously epitomize his ideal lady. He puts me on a pedestal - which is flattering, but sometimes hard to adjust to after having such unappreciative partners in the past.
