Any sun in Capricorn is going to be conjunct (loosely or tightly) either my Neptune or Venus/MC, so I'll probably get along with them just fine

Adore their wisdom, conservative approach and usually their focus to be ambitious.

The pessimism varies from one to the next though. I find myself thinking in a serious and sometimes pessimistic fashion (mercury Capricorn) so I can relate to them

I usually get along with them because cap rising and cap uranus conjunct cap neptune. Its like we have a bond. I think I like them the most out of the earth signs tbh.

I have a Cancer Sun and Virgo Rising/Moon, so I seem to attract Capricorns. I have a LOT of friends with a Capricorn Sun. Capricorn rules my 5th but no planets there. Capricorns are dependable, no nonsense and have a great sense of humor. Once a week a go out with another Cancer Sun and three Cap Suns, they make me laugh until my sides hurt.

God, I love Capricorns. Probably in the top 3 for my favorite sun signs (generically speaking). I admire their strength, realism, and dry wit. I also love their ambition and loyalty. My Venus and Descendant are both in Capricorn, which is probably why I adore them so much.

Their aloofness also fascinates me. But it also can be repulsive, since Capricorns don't really have passions or impulses, and tend to conceal their feelings in any case.

But yeah, I think the Capricorn/Cancer axis is underappreciated usually.

Hmm cap suns... I'm a cap too so often I immediately like them. Sometimes we get on really well, sometimes the friendship just goes down the sewage. I've just "broken" up with a cap friend of many years.

Ime caps whose suns conjunct my saturn are critical of me.

I've known more than one Cappie who had a love for antiquities, from books to weapons (even paying several thousand dollars for a blade that probably couldn't even cut butter anymore, but had been used in a Spanish war centuries ago so he had to have it and would probably kill anyone who took it out of its case to test it against butter!). That seems pretty passionate, and having met those Cappies I'm referring to I now think of Walter Donovan as a Cappie (not that I think of Cappies as evil, all signs have their bad apples). That said they're not the only sign into that, Sag can have their own interests, Leo wants the bragging rights, etc, it's the specific way Cappies want to collect and meticulously keep such items and just might kill you if so much as put a stain in their precious antiquities.

Also, the character Severus Snape is a Capricorn and I thought represented Cappies pretty well, that is the harshly disciplined kind. He was passionate (and ambitious) as well, but also very private and stoic. Everyone thinks Scorpio for him simply because he comes off as a bit scary and wears a lot of black (and I imagined he does have strong placements there) but I think he's Capricorn (and the character is listed as born Jan 9, 1960 if anyone wants to look up a chart for the character).

Seriously though, I do like antique things. And also vintage and "used" stuff. Things that have a history, have a little something of the past. But i dislike clusters n hoarding, so I don't collect things.

As for me I haven't gotten that close to any Capricorns...I did have a lot to do with one Capricorn online (one of those into antiquities) but he wasn't mentally healthy...which I blame more on his upbringing than his chart. Yet most of my Capricorn acquaintances were pleasant enough, however, and I have yet to meet a dishonest Capricorn (though I don't doubt dishonest ones exist). They want what's theirs but if they promised me something they always delivered. I know they tend to find me strange but they usually seem tolerant enough (not to be confused with nonjudgmental).

Interesting enough plenty of Cappies are smart in my book, perhaps its all the hard work they tend to put into their studies. That said, I can think of two offhand who were absolutely brilliant in the academic sense yet have almost no sense whatsoever. Perhaps the "absent minded professor" is most likely a Cappie rather than the Aquarius as most seem to assume.

It's been awhile since I've seen that, trolling at its best (with the possible exception of the cat facts trolling).

I second this! 7th and 8th house ruler is Saturn. ALOT of Saturn aspects in my chart...just LOVE them to pieces!!!

I'm a Capricorn sun & mercury in the 5th

I loled at the antique collector who will inflict pain on those who damage their "preciouses"

The antiques I do own are put away or hidden in my "do not even go in there without me or look at the door" room.
I have been wanting an antique desk for a couple years now and I'm already so over protective of it I won't but one till my kids get older.

I find myself a realist but with a sense of humor. Im honest and couldn't play poker if my life was on the line. I am loyal but well put you on the side burner if I think you need to clean your life up.. But I'll always be there; waiting for you to return.

I've been trying to persuade my husband to sell our antiques.

I adore antiques, museums, ancient places. I don't adore dusting, polishing, defending furniture against rambunctious children.

One thing I have inordinate affection for is my rock and shell collection. Like...my mother-in-law's seashells that I inherited...you'll just have to pry them out of my cold, dead hands.

^ Faith lol good luck with that. Nothing beats having a relatively "bare" house with little furniture n valuable things. Like ya don't have to spend much time keeping things tidy n clean.

And imagine the outrage that the burglars may feel. One time our place was broken in n they stole our food n empty luggages lol

^ ROTFL!...Though, sorry to hear your food and luggage got stolen.

It's funny, that's exactly how I want it to be, too. I want the bare essentials in clean, working order, plus a few colorful and cozy things to make the place livable...and that's it.

One of my Cap friends lives so that she could move out of her house easily in one day. She gets anxious if her precious belongings exceed what two suitcases could hold. Not including her orchids.
