I hate confrontation. Like, seriously hate it.

My neighbors (the past 3 renters) LOVES to cross the property line and scalp my yard (my meticulously cut green lush pride and joy).

I get advised to "just go talk to them", but I'd rather get bright orange grass paint and spray the line to send a visual warning.

My mars is in Scorpio 3rd house
Where's your mars and how would you handle it?

"It" being something you care about and someone else pooping on it

I don't know how much I can identify with your situation because I wouldn't even care about my lawn...

You feel strongly towards it because of all the effort.

So I would be pretty ****** off if I was you..
The first time I would say something politely because i don't want to seem unreasonable and disrespectful

but next time I would go into tunnel vision and make sure they would avoid messing my ish up again...

The only time I get angry is when I feel disrespected..
but I don't see myself living outside a flat so I don't really know if I will ever have to deal with punk ass kids or whatever or have that dramatic scene..

Send an eviction notice. So what if you don't own their property?

but seriously, I'd recommend writing down what you want to say before you go and say it. You can be friendly but firm. Because one day, come summer, you'll need to do it.

Hello!

My mars is in aries in both 2nd and 3rd house.
I am pretty much an agressive type, bcz mars even if it is in domicile, has squares, and the most important to the asc. Happily I have some other things that soften the harshness of my mars, otherwise I'd be a drill seargent in the army. {And is not even a bad idea:D}

I try to not hurt the people I love, but sometimes I don't succed in doing so. I come as blunt, nervous and courageous. I really fight a lot with cancer mars (a male with this aspect was really agressive and a bully with me) and also with gemini -even more, our fghts are horrible, and libra..
I enjoy a capricorn mars:x and I never ever fight with mars in sag ,mars in leo..I dunno ab the other mars signs

I have a quick temper, but I am fast to cool-off..bcz I am not into sports, my nervous energy could go into pretty agressive/dark/ poems I used to write..

The best is to find a healty outlet for your own sake.
and don;t get stomped on, bcz of your neighbour, you deserve your peace.
If you are being firm, but not agressive, to begin with and he doens;t stop it, than proceed with a different approach.
Be overly-assertive!

I seldom have interaction with my neighbors. This despite my Moon being in the 3rd house.

Its interesting that you are experiencing conflict with neighbors; seeing that your Mars is in Scorpio and the 3rd house. I wonder if you both are too involved in each other's lives?

Anyways, I have Mars in Libra and the only way I know how to handle conflict is to reason it out. When the person insists on being unfair, I tend to cut them out of my life.

I would just go over there and say it as it is, maybe trying to be nice at first… I hate confrontations but my experience has told me that it is better not to be afraid of it, cause the more you avoid it the more it will build up! (I have sun conjunction virgo mars in 4th, moon opposite mars and uranus square mars)
Sooo…I'm seriously afraid of confrontations, but if something really ****** me of I'm gonna explode….usually it gets SO much better afterwards

Sometimes it is better to take action! You can at least try. Clear your thoughts. Find words that are not insulting, but emphasize your point. Think of those things as somebody would tell them back to you. Than you can go. Maybe they are not even aware of how much you treasure that. Telling them nicely can stop all this. And I don't mean sugar-coating, but they are your neighbourds, words hurt, you'd still want to talk to them right?
Be honest with yourself and with them. If they have common -sense, it will be solved. (If not - I can lend you an MP5 :D )

That's all I can think of.

I've never even said a word to these neighbours.

It's a rental house and this is the 7th family in 5 years.
I don't even waste my time acknowledging there is a house there anymore (it's not a house that attracts good types of people)

The piece they are cutting is over 300' long so it's out of my budget to plant or fence down it.
Planting down it would have been my first go-to though

When I get upset or passionate about something I start tripping over my words my head becomes fogged up and I'll come of like a bumbling fool of emotional crazy (which might not be a bad thing)
But I can not portray myself like that, because in my obscure "rules of life" that's not allowed.

Ohh..that changes the situation. I thought u meant neighbours for years, with established relationships among you and them...hmm

You can still give it a shot..what;s there to lose? Since they aren't really close.
But stil be polite and frank. The fence idea was also good but seems like it cannot be a possibility

scorp is private/ communication is private..hmm..I get it now

I don't think this would bother me, because like Kero - I don't care about lawn. I've usually lived in CBD areas, in high-rise buildings - so I'm not very used to living in a house.

Are they under the impression that patch of grass is part of their property? Or is it by pure mistake that they are scalping - because there is no diving line?

But to answer the question... if it was something I cared about and someone pooped on it (lol!!)... it really depends on the situation/context.

If it was by pure accident and they seemed like a reasonable person.. I would talk to them and ask them to stop - whatever was bothering me.

If they seemed unreasonable .. or "cray cray"... I would try to scare them to get what I want. Either I would scare *myself* or I would enlist the help of someone else who can scare them for me.

To give an example.. I had a neighbour (tenant) who was very loud and obnoxious. I threatened to tell her agent about her dog - and she panicked about that.
I love dogs and I have my own now.. but considering the circumstances I thought it was ok to threaten her.
There was no talking to her. I had exams.. and I wasn't able to study because of the constant noise and ongoing drama.

If (third scenario)... they are *intentionally* doing something to p*ss me off... as opposed to accidentally... May God have mercy on their soul! LOL

Ok I just looked up lawnmower stuff… You could scare them by putting up a sign:

“Warning: This grass was treated with *insert name of obscure chemicals no one has ever heard of*.
The grass is now oily and muggy which can cause it to stick to the underside of your lawnmower causing serious damage. Please exert great caution”

8th house Taurus Mars.

I try to avoid confrontation but if the person cross that invisible line there's no going back for me. If that see red there's no going back. All I can do is try to avoid being put in situations I'll get that mad. If I feel like I might I literally just leave out the door. I have a terrible temper. It's gotten me in trouble. But I don't get that angry often.

If probably just try to ignore it and if they keep doing it show up in their front door yelling lol.

They definitely know the line. There is no mistaking it. My grass is green, theirs is brown.

I'm just afraid of what might happen if I give them a verbal warning and they ignore it.
I was already ready to rip their Head off

I had a better idea
Carefully place a couple of snake toys in the grass.. on the days you know they usually mow the lawn.

It would be even better if you could find a remote controlled snake toy.
OMG I would have so much fun with your neighbours!!!

Watch this for inspiration haha .. Snake prank: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9wCPUUIjjdU

Or a tarantula toy haha
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/like/310682319472?limghlpsr=true&hlpv=2&ops= true&viphx=1&hlpht=true&lpid=107

And you could place a poster in front of their house saying: "Pet Lost - with a pic of a tarantula. Please call *insert no* if found. Do not approach - very poisonous"

:edit:

Here's two pretty realistic looking snakes:

& remote controlled (works outside &inside) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GN7k7Tg4G6I

Actually many people have snakes as pets... so you could pretend you lost your pet boa as well lol

I wouldn't really care too much.. But considering the fact that you've made a post about it, and say your lawn is "meticulous", I'm going to assume that you care immensely.

I would probably just go up to them and politely say, "Hey, not to be a hard ass, but I work pretty hard on my lawn and it just bothers me that you scalp it. I'm not trying to start issues with you, but I don't want it to become an issue." If they didn't listen, I'd get a fence or spray paint the line. It all depends on the neighbor honestly. Do you know much of their personality? Are they rational or will they think you're out of your mind? My neighbors usually speak to me so I'd be on somewhat good enough terms with them to be able to bring it up mid-conversation without them taking offense.
