I have recently noticed that every male Aries I have ever gotten close to, loves to drink. Currently the guy I am seeing is an Aries and he loves drinking beer with me. This past week we've comsumed over 3, 15 packs and at least a 12 pack. So is it a sun sign thing? Are Aries men prone to drinking?

In my experience most people drink, especially the men, whatever their sign. Many men believe "holding their liquor" (at least enough not to pass out after puking) is a sign of manhood, and if by getting females to drink with him gets him laid then so much the better.

Offhand, the Aries men I can think of were all big drinkers (with one a hard drug user on top of that), but they were drinking with all the other signs, too.

I don't think Aries are big drinkers, because they want to be alert. They like reality.
Pisces is escapist and often alcoholic. Actually the mutable signs in general are the biggest drinkers I know.
Aries can have Pisces placements though.. so that can change things lol

If we're talking about teens drinking to show off, then maybe... Aries... occasionally..
But people who truly have a real love of alcohol are mutable.

^^

And plenty of high school and college students, rednecks, soldiers, those in slums, etc. Obviously age is a factor for that. And in the US where you're not supposed to drink until 21 it appeals a lot more to rebellious youth whereas in other countries where beer can be gotten from machines the kids see getting drunk & stupid as more pathetic rather than cool.

Btw, I found it a bad sign when I saw a liquor store was congratulating a graduating high school class on their sign...

My Aries cousin is a big drinker who experimented in other drugs, but I've always attributed it more to his Pisces moon.

Leos ime were big drinkers, Sag moons (+1 Odette) and the Aries I'm dating now is one, and he has Sag moon, Venus in Pisces, Mars in Gemini. -_-. I have Gemini ASC and Mars and Jupiter (Mars and Jup in 12th house) Moon trine Neptune and Sun, Mercury, Venus square Neptune. If I'm not around drinkers then I don't drink but when I start hanging around those types it increases, especially if we go out I usually end(ed) up binge drinking. It's gotten less and less with age though for me.

In my country you can start drinking at 19, so it's not an age thing. Plus the Aries men I have drank with were all the legal age. Its not that my Aries doesn't like to be alert but enjoys the effects beer presents. He doesn't drink a lot; he's not an alcoholic, but loves drinking and gaming with me.

Know a girl with sun in Aries, mercury in Pisces and she loves to drink. When she was in high school, I heard countless stories of her getting trashed. She's in her mid-to-late 20s now, so she isn't as reckless, but she goes out about once a week and enjoys a nice drink.

I also know of a Pisces sun who's an alcoholic, as well as a Cancer sun and 3 Libra suns. They all flock together and drink almost everyday.

I enjoy drinking on occasion. I've never been one of those people who could drink x amount of consecutive days in a row.. The most I can do is 2 days and then I feel like death. I can't stand the taste or smell of alcohol, though, so you can definitely say I drink to get drunk and feel good not because I like the taste. I've got Aries Mercury, Aries Venus both in 12th house ruled by Aries. Gemini moon in 1st, Cancer mars in 4th. Taurus sun (in 12th house as well), Taurus ascendant.

Video games; anything from fighting-strategic. We enjoy beating the games entirely. Get all the trophies and such.

However we sometimes play card games. Although we usually play them with his mother as well.

Yeah. Seems like most men drink heavily. Maybe it's a society thing.

My dad is an aries sun and he's a big drinker, another friend of mine as well and she's almost an alcoholic and a drug user.
I'm a pisces sun and I don't like to drink, nothing at all. And other pisces suns I've met are not heavy drinkers either, not like the aries people I know.

Or maybe its because their bodies can handle it..

I drink a lot because it's fun to see how wasted i can get without dying.

But I love getting blacked out drunk occasionally with friends... I wake up with craziest of stories.

I knew a Scorpio girl who could out drink men more than twice her size. And she was always looking to get wasted. But whereas crazy stories are often treated as badges of honor to men society tends to look down on females like her who do the same thing...and things like this are much more likely to happen to them:

I need to be more specific. People who are important (family, close friends, etc) generally don't like it when girls do that. Those at parties who don't care are a different matter. And their cheering her on as she chugs doesn't necessarily mean they have any respect or consideration for her, nor that they're (girls as well as guys chugging right along with her) not going to talk about what a **** she is later.

My libra friends father who is under 21 buys her alcohol as a gift when he visits

Her mother hates it and thinks she has a drinking problem, she is probably right because I detect a drinking problem because needing wine to study for exams is kinda weird.

But we live in different generations so I don't know but this not something I notice in real life..

But the world you live it sucks to be woman (or you)
because everything is an issue :P
Im literally sorry for that and Im not being sarcastic..
It just seems really dark and is not something I observe, I mean yeah it exists but not commonly in todays age.
Maybe you sag energy projects your personal encounters and experience as a common rule for all.

Actually, I was talking generally rather than the specifics of my life. MY father doesn't care, and back when he was paying child support for me I expect he'd have been overjoyed if I drank myself to death so he could stop payments. But I don't share the same father or circumstances with billions of people, and neither do you or your Libran friend, therefore whatever the circumstances we may have respectively grown up with and enjoy/endure today don't necessarily apply to people in general.

I also haven't done much drinking (didn't want to be like my alcoholic 'rents) but when I have I've generally endured it well socially, even the few months I spent stoned nearly 24/7. Back in middle & high school the crowd generally thought I was a **** anyway so that had I made a habit of drinking until I puked I doubt it would've made much of a difference anyway. That said, I had friends of my own and preferred quality to quantity.

ETA: If you want I can tell you why I believe that's life in general (including the "treatment" centers parents send kids to that make it a profitable industry, advice columns, parenting books written by men, where fathers complain of the behavior of kids with one set of concerns for boys and the other for girls, and quite a few other things) and then you can share how you're not doing the same thing you're accusing me of (projecting your personal experiences and clique onto society at large).
