What do you remember or don't remember? How does it affect your daily life? And what's your chart upto? Share one interesting story about your memory.

I remember encounters with people. I remember details like what people said, how they moved or gestured, what they were feeling but I don't remember facts about objects. What did I eat for breakfast? Idk. Unless it's routine factual information (same food every day), I won't remember it.

When I was 3 or 4, someone told me I'd forget something in a few years. So I told myself, other people forget but I won't. And I created a rolodex of memories inside my head. Every few months, I'd replay memories, remember facts and re-experience the emotions as deeply as possible. As a result, I can remember things as far as when I was less than 2 years old.

How this plays out in my daily life: I remember things people don't. So now I consciously fake not recollecting information about people. But I dislike it. Why should I pretend to forget? So that's a self confidence thing and off-topic

Mercury conjunct my saturn (importance of memories), Uranus (ability to remember), and sun (identity as a recollector?) in 8th (intimacy). My memories are my way of being intimate with my deeper self.

I remember a great deal of things, especially obscure or random stuff. Like I can remember what songs were playing on the radio when we went on a family trip when I was a kid.

I don't remember anything lol… my memory is like s*** I think it's from my dad….

I do remember peoples birthday though, lol!

I think it's because of my pisces moon and seriously afflicted libra mercury (square jupiter, neptune and saturn)
I have noticed that I usually think I remember something, and then it is totally wrong…. it's neptune that messes with my brain most of the time (mercury square neptune is the most exact placement in my chart)

It's not so good:/

I have a terrible memory which I cultivate. I have a philosophy of forgetting. I don't think most things are important to remember. I live in the present. Or I try to anyway. I remember over all feelings more than details. Merc conj Moon square pluto maybe(?).

Recently I went to NYC and visited with people from different stages of my life in the same weekend; the first boy who was 'in love' with me when I was 17, 1st year uni, grad school, a previous job and some one I met just 6 months or so before.

It was really fun to hear stories about me that I didn't remember. The boy from when I was 17 remembered everything! Amazing details. Things I had long forgotten.

Even my friend I met most recently now tells me about our weekend in NYC. Things I said, where we ate, what I wore... I don't remember and that was just last year!

I dont remember things about other people at all.
I remember odd things though.
Dreams as a child, a spot on my forehead my dad kissed before he went to work one morning when i was very young, my mother singing to me in a crib and the images that song put in my head though i dont recall the words to the song), a screw on the whiteboard I stared at one day in class..
But lately, I cant even remember going out with friends (and I am a 100% sober sally). It just, nothing important happened so it was processed out of my head within weeks.

Ive never been good with names, numbers, or recalling information Ive just read.
My memories are based on feelings and the images that went with those feelings.
I remember my daydreams I guess more than anything

My mercury is in the 5th house of Capricorn with sun and aspecting the 11th house
Its ruling over the 1st and 10th house

A lot of things but the most fascinating was when I was little like three or four I use to have dreams of silhouetted couples in a tube or tunnel presumingly making love.

And the funny feelings I would get when certain fabrics would rub on my chest and I connected that sensation to my dreams and felt uncomfortable and always you to use fuss over my tops, and refused to wear certain fabrics.
I hated overalls for that reason.

Uhm horray for awkward Psychosexual development

Whenever certain fabrics rub cling on my chest it takes me back to when I was 4..

Don't feel awkward. It is a part of who you are. There is no shame in it.

When I was 4, I was seduced by a 5 year old boy in school into doing many things. I quite enjoyed it and discovered my submissive side then. Part of why I like my ability to remember is because I can piece together how I ended up so... depraved.

Well yeah I think it's normal but it's funny that I remember my own sexual development especially when people claim children are innocent angels.

So what if I curse around your stupid kid he's probably playing with no no place wondering why its not working..

Haha how the heck did we end up on this side of the Convo?

Being a little kid and those weird things just happen.
They happen and I'm glad to hear I wasnt the only one with weird thoughts at that age.
Like, weird.

Well, I can remember some things. They just sort of pop up. Like when you bring up this conversation I remember the twins across the street wanting to play doctor. I haven't though of that in decades. So it's in there.... somewhere.

Years ago I used to spent too much time in the past. Worrying over things I did or said, some of them probably super embarassing, I'm wierd too! lol.

I developed a way of removing those things from my memory. I'm quite good at deleting memories.

Now I remember feelings more than detailed memories.

Lucie, your NYC experience is very amusing! I had a coworker who said she would delete bad memories and then never have to worry about it again.

Peoples approaches fascinate me. I never thought someone would remove them in order to eliminate worry. You see, I dwell on it until it festers, then I attack it, solve it and eliminate the problem.

I'm sure there are normal people out there who can simply solve it. Haha. But I'm not one of them! Yet! I'm an optimist.

It was really nice to see the boy from when I was 17. I hadn't seen him in decades. Literally. He was so sweet. He remembered everything and had lovely things to say about me as I am now. If you want an ego boost, go see him! lol.

I forget good things too though. And anyway, I have sun conj nept in the first so I used to think it's all about me that people were always judging me or analyzing everything I do, which they would of course then take the wrong way.

Eventually I had to get out of my own head. No one cares that much about my every move! And so what if I embarrass myself!? If they don't like me it's too bad.

I'm much more optimistic now. I've embraced my saggy slightly awkward self and my powers of forgetting.

You just have to pick and choose what is really important to remember and worry about. I certainly don't stop from worrying. I'm just more choosy now. I like to say my hard drive is full. I need to delete something to remember something else.
