These days I feel very emotionally detached and happy-go-lucky without really looking back… I don't really hold a grudge and I mostly don't care about any tense situation with people, I just try to stay happy no matter what mood they are in…
Is this because of my progressed aquarius moon?Is there anything else that makes people like this in the chart? IP: Logged |

I'm thinking jupiter connected with mercury.....or the moon....Sag (spiritually free) Gemini (mentally free) and Libra (socially free).Also some Cap/Taurus to be able learn from the past/cut ties.....and make it work for the future. Also, aquarians don't appear to get bogged down with anything too much--classic detachment and ability to reason. IP: Logged |

I do have jupiter conjunction ascendant and jupiter square mercury… I have moon square mercury too but it is a wide orb (9 degrees) so it probably doesn't count…it's the same for the conjunction (9 degrees) but the conjunction is much stronger than the squareI love being that way anyways so I don't mind! I have solar return ascendant in Aquarius. I can relate to the detached. This is not my normal state of being. It started right after my birthday. I am natally happy go lucky. Sag sun, more sag, way more planets in sag all trine Jupiter in Aries. Happy is a way of life. IP: Logged |

Lots of Sag placements make me this way...though I wouldn't say I was "emotionally detached." Resilient would be a better word. My 6H Cappie Lilith counterbalance me somewhat (and my Libra energies are vulnerable to having their scales unbalanced) but I think my lucky Scorpio Jupiter makes up for that. IP: Logged |

Interesting post, I often feel this way myself like a water over the bridge feeling when crap happens. I attribute it to my less than one degree Leo riser (or maybe leo rising in general) and the fact I have worked on myself quite a bit in life and a self validater. It hasn't always been this way but with a moldable Pisces sun made dominate by my leo riser amongst a chart full or Aries I am much different than I use to be. I would say happy go lucky fits, emotionally detached not so much as the cancer and pisces in my chart doesn't allow for a lot of that. IP: Logged |

I have Gemini Moon/Mars sextile Jupiter in Leo. I looked up the orbs a while back and they turned out to be the tightest aspects in my chart. I also have Sag MC, but I'm not sure if that plays a part in it.I may be in a bad mood for all of 2 seconds, but then I kick that mood to the curb and quickly forget about it. I've noticed that other Moon sextile/trine Jupiter people tend to be like this, as well. IP: Logged |

I used to be like this, as well. Except for an extended dealing with depression in high school, I used to be able to pull myself out of it pretty quickly. I sometimes manage it now, but it doesn't come nearly so naturally to me, and I miss it. My Moon/Venus in Gemini, is sextile Jupiter, and I also have Jupiter trine Neptune, which I used to call the Hallmark part of my brain. The Aries Sun might help. The dog I adopted five-six weeks ago, seems to be a flat-coated retriever, or a mix, which is known for a Peter Pan-like outlook on life. He's definitely cheered me up, although I still have trouble getting out of bed, and he almost pulled me off my feet earlier, when I was walking him with dad, and our other dog. I have a grand trine involving moon,mars, and jupiter. Also Jupiter trines my ASC.I used to take things really seriously.
Not sure if its my strong pluto and aspects, but if someone ****** me off, i would have revenge on my mind for a while. Not like that anymore though. I can get into an argument with someone now and laugh it off a few seconds later. I have always been very optimistic in life though, maybe a little too optimistic at times 😕 IP: Logged |

@teaselI've went through periods where it didn't come so naturally to me, either. It's good that you still manage to feel that way sometimes - sometimes is better than never. I hope it comes back to you soon. I have a golden retriever/cocker spaniel mix. I know what you mean about needing a long leash. She drags me just about everywhere lol. They're awesome dogs, though. --- Has anybody else experienced another person becoming upset/angry about your happy go-lucky attitude? I'm pretty happy go lucky, but obviously not all the time or I'd be loopy.
I have 9th house Jupiter trine my ASC Can't wait till my progressed moon is in Aqua soon, I'd love a bit of healthy emotional detachment for a while! IP: Logged |

I could never understand why random people suddenly talk to me and tell me there problems or life story. Moon changing signs can initially give bouyancy because you are starting on a clean slate.And there are aspects/positions that have that "clean slate" feel. Moon in Aries.

Well moon square jupiter seem to make people very sensitive instead of happy go lucky, maybe it gives that appearance but they are very sensitive and cry easily from what I have observed. Since jupiter amplifies what it touches when it aspects the moon at least harshly it can make someone who is very emotional. IP: Logged |

Someone I know who fits the description of happy go lucky really well has sun trine jupiter and venus quintile jupiter... I like her but happy go lucky can be annoying, it feels fake to me.. Like I cant explain it. IP: Logged |

I felt a bit like that when my moon was in Gemini. My Venus is there now and I find I like small talk a lot more than I used to. It unnerved me too though, even after wishing I could be that way when younger, as I felt a bit bereft of the usual Emo. I suppose it coincides with that progression but at the same time it followed some heavy transits and the relief of them having passed and no longer being able to deal with heaviness with a heavy outlook. I feel really fake about it sometimes. Wonder if thats what a dual sign involves - feeling that kind of split. It's very weird to experience as someone heavy in fixed signs. IP: Logged |

I'm always laughing, I love laughing and try to have a great laugh at least once a day. Humor is my cup of tea, and if it's ironic or even black humor, better.
