The answer lies in the missing part of something you have. It may be that, for instance, you are seek pleasure too avidly and need to explore its opposite. You could be denying yourself pleasure and need to enjoy yourself more. The solution may involve enthusiasm and optimism.

Okay starlit here is some chiron in leo stuff. With this position, super stardom can be achieved. One of the most renowned artists in history responsible for thousands of oil paintings and a forerunner of the impressionist movement, Pierre-Auguste Renoir also had this placement. Renoir changed the face of art with the impressionist movement (Uranus), changing the face of creative form (Saturn). It is well known that Renoir suffered an affliction of rheumatoid arthritis in his hands in later years. The hands are ruled by Chiron, and it is through the hands that the chirotic gift often emerges. Although, his crippling wound affected the very part of him responsible for producing his greatest contribution to humanity, he remained a prolific artist up until his death. Most of Renoir's artwork depicted realistic scenes of women and romantic scenes and children. These are all things ruled by the sign of Leo. He often painted his own extensions of the self, including his own children and other artists he knew. Moreover, his mistresses and romantic interests are often portrayed in the nude. According to an online article by author Milan Jaukovic: "It seems that his painting and his desire for the company of women were symptomatic of a more general attitude towards them. Women, and to a lesser extent children, might serve as muses." Awareness of the self and ego exists with Chiron in Leo. Renoir painted many self portraits. According to author Barbara Hand Clow in her book titled, "Chiron: Rainbow Bridge Between the Inner and Outer Planets: "When they [Chiron in Leo natives] are ready to let the ego go and release their gift through creativity, they fuse with the higher will or Uranian dynamic. Any identification of purpose is very helpful to them, and resonation with their struggle relieves their anxiety." (pp. 90, Hand Clow) IP: Logged |

Sextiles my Venus almost exact.I feel like i have troubles with communications (I hate talking on the phone, don't feel comfortable in larger parties..), there are lots of miscommunications etc. I don't really understand it too much. But i feel like i don't like it. IP: Logged |

quote: Chiron in the 1st house: Chiron here can make you like a knight in shining armor, always ready to fight for the underdog. Usually, while you are doing this, you are neglecting yourself. You could also be a wise councilor (especially in health matters) but you seem to have trouble taking your own advice. A 1st house Chiron can be a gifted teacher, and, of course, you can teach others how to do something better than you can do it yourself. A neat trick to get around this: Give yourself advice as if you were someone else. Then maybe you will take it.
quote: Chiron in Cancer Keyword: I Love Wounding: Abandonment Gift: Compassion If Chiron falls in Cancer in your chart, you bear the pain of the heart, what ‘love’ creates in life, as well as the fear of ‘separation’. You are especially sensitive to ‘emotion’ and hold within you a wound around feelings of separation, abandonment and grief. Because of the hyposensitivity of your own emotions, you are especially empathetic towards others. This creates the burden of sometimes taking on, both emotionally and energetically, what others are feeling. Thus you sometimes become overburdened with the pain of others. Because of an inner wounding regarding abandonment, you can feel unworthy of love and thereby give too generously to everyone else but yourself. Therefore, you can sacrifice your own needs and pleasures to the point that you become disconnected to your own inner feelings and desires. You also have a deep fear of pain, both physical and emotional, because of your hypersensitivity. At the heart of it, Chiron in Cancer people do need to work through their emotional body and channel this energy constructively into their daily life. This then delegates their need to nurture, have a family and seek personal and financial security. They’re always taking in stray animals, relatives and friends that have fallen on bad times. But with Chiron in Cancer, they neglect their own pain. Rather than giving all your love to others, Chiron in Cancer encourages you to learn to love yourself. Once Chiron in Cancer people concede that they deserve to be loved back and release the fear around it, they can give to themselves even more so, this time in a more balanced, healthy way. This way they can begin to cherish their own needs for love and nurturing and can open themselves to the world, allowing love to flow back to them.

I thought Chiron was about our own pain, so I didn't understand Kero's view of telling others to be confident. Chiron in Leo would then say the subject has an issue with confidence, no? IP: Logged |

I have chiron in Gemini on the 12th house side conjunct my ascendant.I had a jaw deformity which was corrected with surgery. It is the focal point of a yod between pluto(scorpio in the sixth) and neptune(7th capricorn) sextiling each other, and saturn(scorpio in the 6th) is in the middle opposing chiron, which I read is the key to yods. This intrigues me.Natal Chiron in Gemini in Eleventh House, but conjunct my Twelfth House Cusp. Chiron is 16º Gem and Twelfth House Cusp is 16º Gem. I yak at people all the time about everything. I have been interested in all sorts of Twelfth House stuffs since I was a young one. I think one of my purposes here on earth may be to help people embrace their shadow side. I learn each day how to better embrace my own. IP: Logged |

Indeed. Transiting Chiron in Pisces has been conjunct my natal Moon and Mercury for quite some time. I have experienced tremendous healing in the last 2 years. At the same time, new experiences of pain continue occurring for me, perhaps even at an accelerated rate. I am trying to perfect the art of experiencing the pain directly and only for as long as necessary, then inviting in the act of healing, and basking in that also only as long as necessary, before the next wave of pain occurs. Much of this seems to occur in my relationship with my husband. His natal Venus is 11º Gem, conjunct my natal Chiron at 16º Gem. IP: Logged |

Wow, I love that description of Chiron in Cancer. Thanks for posting it, Cappy. Now I don't need to explain that one anymore My Chiron's in the 10th house conjunct my MC. I do meet quite a lot of people who are very open about their problems to me (the MC and being visible I guess). Career and future plans, too. I always feel invisible myself, not being seen, not being heard, especially not emotionally (the Cancer). Aspects: Trine Pluto (exact) Sextile Mercury (just as exact) Quintile Venus and Juno Opposite Moon (tiiightly), Saturn and Neptune IP: Logged |

Chiron in 6th house, Canceri didn't really understand its purpose at first, but over the last couple of years it has made sense. I teach health and wellness to help others nurture and honor their bodies. Ironically I have learned to heal myself (health issues) through this path. IP: Logged |
