Forgive me if this has been asked before, how do you figure out connections with IC and descendant? I'm using Astrodienst but it doesn't really show if its a conjunction, trine etc. Any help?IP: Logged |

For example, the red person's nodal axis is conjunct the blue person's ASC-DSC axis. Their ASC-DSC is square the blue person's IC-MC. Their Vertex is trine another person's IC. The blue Jupiter is square the red IC-MC. If you can't handle the wheel, you can always click on "additonial tables (pdf)" right above the chart.

Thanks for the insight. I usually use the combination of this chart plus the extra chart but I know it doesn't really list IC or DSC. I've noticed a number of questions about IC and DSC and have been trying to figure out our dynamics.IP: Logged |

You can also look at the connections to the Ascendant to see aspects to the Descendant and look at the MC for aspects to the IC when viewing the chart details. For example: If it says that Mars is sextile the Ascendant then it is trine the Descendant. Mars square the Ascendant will be square the Descendant. Mars conjunct the Ascendant will be opposite the Descendant. The same with aspects to the MC. Anything touching one end of an angle is automatically aspecting the other end. IP: Logged |

If something is square MC or ASC, that means it's square IC or DSC too. If something is conjunct MC or ASC, it's opposite IC or DSC. If something is trine ASC or MC, it's sextile DSC or IC and the other way round.------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

Ahhh, *that's* what I need to work on. Which will be sextile/trine and what will remain opposite/square both ways. Thank you to both of you!IP: Logged |
