I have this aspect and neptune is conjunct my aries point. I run 6 miles every day...I study 10 hours a day...I'm pretty grounded....I don't do any art what so ever but I'm good at everything...

But it's a detriment because I can't make up my mind on what I should do...so I just study and do what makes the most money.

Does that sound like sun conjunct neptune in capricorn to you?

yeah...it's at 1 degree Capricorn and sun is at 7 degrees Capricorn...

My Jupiter is in the 8th house in Capricorn too...

I have Saturn in Scorpio in the sixth with Pluto there too and my north node is in the 12th house in Taurus.

I have mars in pisces and moon in pisces and venus in aquarius conjunct midheavan...

But I can't figure out how neptune works for me. I have intense dreams...very active...if I don't exercise for at least one to two hours a day I can't sleep and I have horrible nightmares.

I'm good at drawing and playing music but I never make it past the fundamental stages of learning because I feel intense weights of responsibility being the oldest in the family. I always feel responsible to do the ish no one wants to do but ironically that's usually where the biggest rewards lie.

I won't lie though...I would love to act or dance or be an artist. My soul is that of an artist...I understand art to the deepest level...but I Can't seem to take it seriously for myself as a profession because it's not tangible and I can't figure out how to structure it for success.

I enjoy divination and the mystical...and experience elation when I run...and ecstasy.

I have the problem of liking too many things, wanting to try as many as possible. I want to find something that I'm really passionate about so right now still trying things out.

I love dabbling in the arts. If ya can't make it your career, keep it as an hobby.

I've been trying to do that. I started drawing yesterday and learning fundamentals. I spontaneously write songs too.
The funny thing is I have no desire what so ever to be known just compensated.

If I were an artist, fame would not motivate me as much as compensation....because I value security for family and what not.

I'm first generation though and my parents' parents were poor farmers so I've inherited a very cautious way of living.

Anyways...I want to bless you all. I assume you have Neptune conjunct sun too? Maybe that's why we dissolve quickly? Maybe we come together over time and discover our true art since neptune is in capricorn...the possibility of a career artist may come later than ever?

I also write (Gemini ascendant) although my writing here is pathetic because I'm simultaneously studying. Gemini ascendants multitask like machine guns shoot rapid fire.

In case you all didn't know....

Studying 10 hours per day ? only a Capricorn would be capable of that, I do know one who studies 16 hours per day, oh well.

Do what you feel passionate about. I mean, putting all the money and everything else aside, if there is one thing that you’d love to do, what would that be ? Do that.

Idk, you may wanna try n have two (or more) careers, something to earn money for your family, and something else on the side. That's what I often do, when in doubt n can't choose, take both.

But I get what you mean, I also feel like if I want to go for art I'd have to give up the "material" world completely. I pretty much can't "merge" the two.

That's very cool. What do you do in the resting periods?

Btw, they say a block of 40 minutes of focus is ideal, considering the buildIng of focus, momentum, and getting back into a session takes a few minutes, but I do think 20 minutes is much more manageable.

This gives me an idea. Maybe my art is teaching people how to achieve their goals? After I pass these brutal exams (I've passed one so far) maybe I will do that.

As for now...who would like me to tell them how I go about with discipline through out the day to achieve a certain goal?

FYI I've trained to this level of dedication but it required gradual steps every day and minimizing growing pains so that I wouldn't give up.

For my first few study sessions...I do 40 minutes to an hour...but I can't maintain that all day unless what I'm reading is profoundly interesting and even then I'm liable to waver as I'm usually only interested in not doing what I was doing the previous hour.

Eventually...I use good diet and exercise to pump and prime my brain to continue studying in 20 minutes intervals. Sometimes...it gets brutal...and I can only must 10 minutes before I'm on here or looking up some random fact about the higgs boson field, or something else for that matter - like rolling the I ching or a digital deck of tarot cards.

Overall though...I pretty much have been studying all day like a pulsating light...off and on, off and on...

What is critical is exercise and a good diet.

Exercise is done mid day to refresh the brain....and once in a while I will watch a basketball game on the telly./

Too answer your question in brief...when I'm resting I'm either stretching for the following day since running six miles a day requires a lot of stretching, or I'm eating a healthy mid sized meal, or I'm watching a play-off game, or I'm reading about astrology, mysticism, esoteric info, arch types, dreams etc...

I would probably be a good symbologist since I am good at math too.

I'm not perfect though. I've noticed that some people can pass these exams quicker for some reason. I on the other hand require exercise and balance. Some people are willing to medicate with food.

Not me...but they end up making more money for it...I don't value just making lots of money. I value security...but I value how my body feels too...
