That's how I am. I have Scorpio on my DSC as well as Neptune in the 8th and my 5th HR squaring Pluto. I like very intense relationships. I think planets/points in Scorpio or the 8th or contacting Pluto tend to produce that effect, as does Pluto in the 5th, 7th, or 8th or contacting the rulers of those houses.

In synastry, Pluto in tight orb will trigger those kinds of feelings, as will 8th house placements.

literally my face -_-

Are there people out there who desire mediocre love? drowning in love sounds like uhmmm cheesy lyrics from very other song out there.
If someone ever told me that I would not be impressed..
choose another hyperbole

Actually Venus in scorpio is where unhealthy obsession come into play, who says obsession is love it's the desire to control another person. That may be the scorpio version of love but not universal love.

I say anyone with a strong venus or moon will desire love the pure kind you all dream of.

I actually know people who are fine with being in mediocre relationships and love. They think love should be calm and placid.

lmfao okay sure... calm and placid is mediocre..

Maybe to them what they feel is intense but you don't know that, you have to be in a relationship with them... obviously?

Throwing around **** and being dramatic does not make for ideal love..
That's more like lust and sexuality.

exactly so what determines mediocre?

it really depends on the couple and how they feel for each other.

So you would have to look at synastry.

I know people in mediocre relationships and I know only because they always talk about how they can't wait to find someone better. I was actually appalled that they would just stay with someone to not be lonely. <--- My definition of a mediocre relationship.

My most deep relationship was VERY placid and calm but that's because we legitimately understood each other and worked together. We did drown in the other person because it felt like a constant desire to get closer and crushing abandonment to have that denied. Although when we were together, we didn't have to touch it was just the fact that we were near. We naturally served the other person in a sort of dominant submissive relationship. It was soulful love.

I have Pluto in my 7th, maybe intercepted but Venus rules it. I need Venus Pluto in relationships and that person ^^ had Venus conjunct Pluto.

I would hate to feel anxious all the time and worried about someone flipping out at me or feeling like flipping out at my partner constantly.

Synastry was that person's Pluto/Venus conjunct my IC and it definitely struck me at my core. Unfortunately I don't know their time of birth so I can't say what my chart was doing to their angles but I definitely think the IC contact allows the other person to access your depths or to drown in you.

pluto in scorpio in 8th?

I have that and I really connect with this quote: "Unless it's mad, passionate, extraordinary love, it's a waste of your time. There are too many mediocre things in life. Love shouldn't be one of them."

For some, fear of losing the mediocre is just as scary as having nothing. But when you're single, at least you get a reality check every day. There is no illusion to protect you.

Ditto. What's your rising degree, MsPrism? Are we conjunct? I'm 26 degrees Aries.

I've been searching into a possibly intercepted 1st and 7th. It does make a lot of sense so far in my research. My chart is currently at 26° Aries.

It was funny when you put your chart as your signature for me because my jaw dropped at your ASC degree.

I feel the same exact way: Pluto in 5th, Neptune in 7th. 8th house/Scorpio stellium.

There's this one piece that describes it perfectly.

quote:
I want a love that will breathe life back into my sleeping viscera. I want a love that crushes my past half-lives into a fine dust, a love that obliterates the crumpled strung out papery cutouts, a love that scribbles the last word and seals the letter. I want a love that will change me, alter me, add to me; spin new neural networks in my brain matter like shiny silver webs. I want a love that will make the word itself feel heavy, oversaturated with a strange, exhilarating weight.

Transform me. Peel off the graffitied scrap canvas and expose the vulnerable untouchable layer, let me become something unblemished and clean underneath you; brush off my fragile wrappings onto the cold floor and brand your mutable colors into my skin. Hold me tightly for a moment. I don’t want to know better, everyone always knows better and that’s how they forget how to feel.

No one loves like that anymore. Why.

Maybe they do. Maybe there are people who only know how to love this way.
