What signs or placements give a person the ability to ignore? I assume it has to do with self-control and maturity so Saturn? Pluto? Neptune? Surely, Neptune since it's the planet of blinders. Does Uranus "ignore" or simply forget? Houses?IP: Logged |

I think ignorance also has allot to do with the selective use of knowledge/memory. Ie. Extreme bias. IP: Logged |

I think it depends what motivates someone to be ignorant, hatred, discrimination. I'm guessing a mixture between Neptune (seeing what you want to see) and Pluto (transformation of others and self) IP: Logged |

i've found some libras, libra ascs and leo ascs to sometimes be ignorant regarding their tact, or rather lack there of.
perhaps it is more their vanity causing a little blindness to how they actually come of, i don't know. but sometimes i'm totally bewildered at some of their words and actions….they can be so rude and well, ignorant! maybe there is something deeper in the chart, but it's just something i've noticed with people around me. one especially is a libra with leo asc….she has no idea how she comes off! i'd also add that perhaps really easy charts, with not many challenging aspects might be a recipe for someone to remain content in their ignorance. just maybe.IP: Logged |

I'm not sure anybody else read your op after your word mishap....anyway though, I think it would have to do with WHAT they ignore. Ignoring somebody or something isn't always mature. I would say its erratic (Uranus) or denial (Neptune) to just blatantly ignore one's surroundings. Now if you were talking on a "higher road" sense I could associate Saturn, definitely. Like ignoring somebody who is trying to pick a fight with you. Something like that would relate to maturity. IP: Logged |

Well, when you put ignore that way- Ketu in the 6th tends to do that. But it gets them into trouble a lot. They tend to ignore the people who are causing trouble in their lives- "rising above" them. Being the bigger person, etc. But often they wake up one day and find themselves cornered and realize that they really should've nipped those people in the bud when they had the chance rather than 'being the bigger person.'By the way, where-ever Ketu is in one's chart is where the person most often tends to be neglectful. Someone with Ketu in the 6th tends to neglect/ignore troublesome people. IP: Logged |

I do this sometimes.
It depends. I don't usually react -because- someone is provoking me. But I can react regardless of that, if I think I should react. Sometimes when a person is provoking you - it gives you the chance to really put your perspective out there. So if I felt it was best that I respond - I would respond.
It depends on the context and who the person provoking me is. This sounds like an earth/water sign thing... I'm thinking Mercury and Mars in those signs would probably cool it and think things through - before they react. IP: Logged |
