Sorry, if my honesty has offended you. I just thought, I could share my experience and chart placements... But I totally understand your sarcasm
What are your chart placements, may I ask? IP: Logged |

My best advice is to try one of your passions, try making something concrete, like making it puplic whether it be making some drawings for an exhibition, or make some finished songs you feel you could act out on a stage, or try to write a whole book…. try try try anything you like!
I promise you I will try...but at the moment I'm fully devoted to studying..I tried putting out my music and art before but realized from responses that even though it was pretty cool and good it would take me years upon years to ever sell it and make money from it.........[/B][/QUOTE] I hope you are studying to get a job that doesn't crave much then? Cause if you should work on your creative projects you need a job that gives you 100% free time when you are not working. I am finishing my first education in about 2 weeks, then I'm free to do whatever I want… then I plan to get a simple job so I can concentrate on creative projects in my free time IP: Logged |

Yeah...It will...It's probably going to help me get a job of my choosing where I don't have to do anything after 5. It's been hard for me because a lot of jobs people consider easy are hard for me and a lot of jobs people consider hard are easy for me. The reason being that I take things in like a spunge so when I work in service like hotels or helping people I end up going home feeling like a zombie... But If I could have a job that required intellect and helping people indirectly by managing numbers...then I Could go home and be creative because I Don't have to have people screaming at me... One time I was a driver for a hotel and this rich man started kicking me in the back because I brought him to the wrong place based on his information. He blamed me and started hitting me and beating me. I'm a big guy so i just ignored it and shuttled him off to his place...but the experience haunted me for years because if anything happened the wealthy man would have been in the right no matter what. I'm glad I resolved the situation and took the higher road as we were alone and it would have been his word against mine. Experiences like that have pretty much made me never want to do anything involving other people ever... IP: Logged |

Or writing and music as in song writing? Or thinking of a startup I could use my business degree to implement that makes the world better in terms of the passion nature. Is this what you all mean by it? You don't necessarily have to do it for a living but it should compose a huge part of your life?
Have you considered animation, like disney and pixar kinda stuff? That would require you to put together all your passions: Music - background sound effect Drawing - characters + scenery Writing - story plot Dancing & running - characters' movements (think alvin & the chipmucks) Computer & programming - design & animation Bottomline is, you'll find your path when the time is right. Keep exploring, you might just accidentally stumble into it. Btw, I am approaching saturn return soon too - getting away from it all and just gonna be me. (the uranus revolution) IP: Logged |

no. a passion can (for some) lead to success and money and etc., but you can find fulfillment in any line of work when you use your skills to be the best at the job/career you select. your job might not be your "passion," but you can still be passionate about your job when it matches your skill set. find a job that matches your inherent skills and abilities and you'll be better off than pursuing a "passion" - which is often more of a hobby for most people and why so many feel like failures. people strive to fulfill a passion when they are actually quite capable of being passionate about anything, provided it matches their abilities.IP: Logged |

Actually...someone suggested animation too me and I still consider it but the issue with that is I would have trouble spending too much time behind a desk, need to make my own hours, and do not like taking orders from others.... Maybe I will try however to get into animation after I have a more conventional and stable life... I enjoy adventure very much also...and this is the opposite of animation which is projecting adventure outwards.... But thank you thought...and I will definitely reconsider it now. But also...Hollywood is about connections...

This is actually what I feel in my gut...and why I maintain an entirely conventional career path with a contingency in art.
The truth is most artists who pass away from fame never experienced it in their life. Their friends and family never benefited from their skills and gifts. I need to be of service to the people I love. How can I serve my close friends and family with a painting? I cannot...but I can become solid in terms of career and then branch out and create enterprises...direct....and help other artists monetize so they can experience success in their lifetime. I can give them the gift which is missing in our time.
