Is it related to the Midheaven? And why are my 10th harmonic and 5th harmonic charts so similar?

10th harmonic is the half of the 5th harmonic.
Every 5th harmonic conjunction will appear as conjunction in the 10th (if in reasonable tight orbt). Oppositions in the 5th harmonic will become conjunct in 10th harmonic (tight orb)

5th harmonic is quintile
10th harmonic is decile or semi-quintile.

5th harmonic deals with creation itself, creativity, personally I experience as a lively sparkly energy, some sort of magic going on there. For example Mozart had a strong 5th harmonic chart, and I think what we read about him, the playfulness, the childishness and sillyness of him, coupled with the obsessiveness when it came to creativity, is very symbolic of the 5th harmonic chart.

It is like a dance.

The 10th harmonic will probably be even more structured and putting all the creativity of the 5th harmonic to the practical test; it might be a bit more sober though.

Simply said, the 5th provides the creative spark/ inspiration, the 10th makes it concrete and gives it a structure in reality.

Decile, tredecile, biquintile are a variation of the 5th harmonics, the Quintile chart, which is the one you should look at, IMO.

The creative, "talented" and possibly magical chart.

But maybe if you have a great number of deciles in your chart you should "read" your talent situation in the 10th harmonics chart.

You should find a program that calculates these minor aspects to find out which one is preponderant in your chart (or if there is such a preponderance). Canopus, for instance, but I don't know if it's still available.

There is a lot of creative talent in you waiting to be sparked alive and ignite the world around you.

Like Leelo stated, I would look at the 5th harmonic though, all the oppositions in it, are 10th harmonic aspects anyway.

Kerosene,
in harmonic astrology, the charts are used to get a look into the aspect pattern, so no signs are being used.

However, Vedic does consider the signs, too, and if we compare harmonic to natal, we do so, too.

Of course honestly, comparing to the natal, is comparing apples with oranges.
I think it can be done though, if we consider the harmonic charts not simply being magnifiers of aspects, but symbolic charts in itself for a certain area of life.

Is it really valid to do that?
Well I donīt know. I am doing it anyway though. lol

Trideciles will also show up as conjunctions in the 10th and oppositions in the 5th.

The 5th harmonic represent talent, especially creative talent. I don't know as much about the 10th harmonic but they're creative aspects as well. The decile supposedly gives the ability to give ideas form and makes the person want to help people. The tridecile creates a need for withdrawal and bestows a gift for innvation. I do identify with my trideciles (Sun-Pluto and ASC-MC) and I definitely think 10th harmonic aspects are worth looking at, although supposedly they're difficult to access and I've found that to be the case. I think the practical application would be to find areas where you might have latent creative gifts that can be developed with some effort.
