I have Uranus in the seventh house and I always thought I'd be single...but the truth is if I find someone who believes in astrology to a degree, is educated, doesn't drink much or do drugs, and isn't a polyamorist...I may tie the knot one day...or simply be in a committed relationship.

I basically need someone who is an aquarius in the sense that they can be traditional but also open...it's a really strange thing but aquarius has two rulers - saturn and uranus...so it exemplifies this notion perfectly..

I have mercury conjunct Uranus in the seventh house...in Sagittarius....so it's amazing how true the chart reads!

Thought I'd share that because seventh house issues are a big topic here!

my husband has uranus/mars conjunct DC and he is extremely committed....definitely relationship material but he is also a libra with moon in cancer, venus in leo and mars in scorpio and taurus rising.....so a lot of signs that are fixed or get attached in the love planets and angles.

I have Uranus in the 7th. I really like committed relationships but I also have Saturn there, and unlike Uranus it contacts my DSC.

I have Uranus and Neptune in 7th and oddly enough, I still want to be married lol. I did at one moment in my life not want to be married when I was younger though, but it was for immature reasons.

I think YoursTrulyAlways/YTA has Uranus in 7th and he's been married for a while now too.

I think with the help of knowing astrology,we can also better see whether or not someone really has the energies we need based off of our chat and even know about possible themes/issues in a relationship as compared to someone who doesn't know astrology that may pick someone not fit for them at all.

Capricorn is also on my 7th house cusp

Interesting, I have gemini in the 7th so mercury rules my 7th and I have aquaris in the third house so uranus rules my 3rd....also my sag rising conjuncts uranus and jupiter...

My 7th house opposes my tsquare focal point neptune in the first and my sun/moon midpoint is in gemini around 26 if I remember correctly...I also have northnode in gemini at 19 degrees and vesta conjuncts my sun/moon midpoint in gemini.

I have Draconic venus/mars/mercury in gemini.

My husband has mars conjunct uranus conjunct DC and all square his venus.....I dont need the title of wife personally (we did not get a marriage license or involved the church, we had a Buddhist ceremony you could say)....but I need to fill like I am the priority or I will break up and loyalty is very important to me and if I suspect infidelity I will immediately discuss it and lay out the cards in the table:

-either you stop cheating, we break up or we both see other people on the side. I wouldn't ignore it but I wouldn't break up either, I would discuss what is happening.

Intellectually I can understand the need for an open relationship but I am jealous and have real great instincts so if I had an open relationship it would have to be beneficial for me and make me happier and rules must be placed and followed and either party can decide to break off the arrangement if they feel uncomfortable.

I like the idea of it but applying it I dont know if it would work although I think it would be cool if we lived in a world were how we are biologically wired wouldn't have so much power over us.........bc if my husband was not jealous and I was not jealous and neither of us had this biological instinct to mark our territory and be possessive then an open relationship would be a natural thing that nobody would think twice of...

but jealousy serves evolutionary functions..it protects resources and our hearts and ensures your genes will get pass down and that your children will survive but now that we have paternity tests and that men and women both work I feel the main function of jealousy is to protect our hearts but our biology and how we are wired is still operating in an older drive and has not been updated.......

so who knows how our romantic, dating and interpersonal dynamics will be once our biology updates and catches up with modern times.....

I'm curious. I know someone like this. Do you like committed relationships with a unique twist? How does Uranus factor into play?

Ha ha, yes... I'm gay and beyond that I have unusual taste in relationships. Saturn in the 7th is supposed to give a taste for conventional relationships too. So it definitely has an influence on my behavior.

7th house describes your partner and open enemies, 7th house ruler tells us about how you deal with partners and enemies.

7th house ruler in the 7th suggests there is perfect harmony with what you want and attract.
Not everyone has that lol

Oh I didn't even think about the same sex thing although I suppose that makes sense as well! Unusual taste how? If it's appropriate discussion material for lindaland, I'd love to know. Otherwise, I'd love to know anyway but I'll keep the curiosity to myself. Lol.

I'm pretty sure the person I know also has Saturn conjunct descendant with Uranus a little further down the 7th house.

I don't think it's appropriate for this forum given that you can't even swear, plus it is a bit personal. But I wouldn't mind telling you via PM (if you can even send them on here, I've never been able to figure that out) or email if you're really curious. I understand that, I always want to know everyone's secrets LOL.

I'm curious about everyone's secret side like you it'd be fun to get to know people away from the public eye! IRL, it's so much easier to randomly talk to people. On the Internet, I feel like I'm breaking laws when I want to extend an invitation to chat outside threads. So thanks for doing that first. It's that Uranus in house of "one-on-one" in you

I know exactly what you mean, it's easier for me to talk to people IRL too. I'm lifefullofwords on gmail as well, we should totally chat sometime and I will try to satisfy your curiosity.

Omg really? Well... I just kinda assumed I'd be ruining Lindaland's rosy pink undercurrent of anonymous bonding.

Ok, any person I talk to on this website who enjoys talking to me (except the aspiring spam bots! Not you), feel free to email me!

AlexDern, I didn't mean to hijack your thread. Sorry!

Hey, hope you don't mind me joining in this way. I have the transit going on right now and it'll travel through my 7th house for a long time. Uranus is also squaring my natal Moon and sitting on my Vertex.

So I can tell you some of my experiences. Curious if they match people who have it natally.

Everyone I have met and gotten to know is Uranian. Whether it's planets in Aquarius, Uranus in harsh aspect to their inner planets, Uranus on an angle or a heavy 11th house, every person significant to me has had at least one of those. A lot of them had the "friendly, but not too close" trait going on that's so common for Aquarius/Uranus.

Lots of chatting online or through technology, I've gotten quite a few people interested in astrology and even done a brief chart reading for them, right now my new Facebook account has really taken off...
And of course I got back into astrology when Uranus touched my Descendant. Really cool how it all matches up.

How I feel about it? Well, I like the new bunch of acquaintances and casual friends I've made/keep making. Again, usually through a course, message board or hobby where we have something in common. But there's not much consistency. People just flow in and out of my life, while I crave stability and long-term relationships (I'm very Saturnine and Lunar). I'm very bothered by things remaining very shallow most of the time... but I'm trying to open up more and earlier, rather than sitting on the sidelines, cautiously waiting for "the right moment". It's hard to rely on many of them and I've gotten very hurt and disappointed several times. But recently I've realized it's teaching me to take care of myself, too. Give myself as much attention as I give to others. Learn to enjoy doing things on my own. My 7th house is, of course, Aries, so that's double the amount of independence in others.

So, very mixed feelings on it. They change very often, too, in true Uranian style, but it's already a step ahead of how I used to be.

At first, I thought I was going to die, I hated it soooo much! It felt like the universe was against me, making sure I would never have any friends or a relationship, constantly breaking down the little things I'd built up. I wondered if I'd been that much of a horrible person in my past life that I deserved this kind of treatment. Cried and mourned hard for the loss of every important person I kept losing - and finding out they didn't feel the same way about me, not as strongly as I had. (Keep in mind Pluto is going through my 4th house as well, first the IC, and now my Moon.)

It's getting better now, though. But it's a really, really tough transit and I wouldn't wish it upon others, unless they're very independent, fun-loving themselves.

Tons of things happening with Uranus here, wow this has gotten long.

My s.o. also got his uranus in 7th house conjunct his descendant, but his 7th house ruler is capricorn and saturn sits in his 8th house… so that is kind of complicated!

Jealousy hasn't really been a theme in our relationship, none of us have major pluto influence and neither in synastry… I think our relationship is original in some other way

Especially because he is seriously the most shy guy I've ever met… I just really don't think he would meet another one that easily. I don't think he even got a long-therm relationship before me

awwwwwwwwwwwww.....that is soo sweeet

Sounds like you found a keeper ....

My SO 7th is ruled by pluto and mars and pluto and mars are in his 6th but his mars and uranus conjunct exact his DC....

He is always trying to get me to partner up with him business wise and we worked together for a while....since the ruler of my MC and my 7th are both mercury I could see us working together again in the future and having our own business....

With him he is more interested in creative endeavours and spending time starting new projects or working on current projects than chasing girls..his passions are technology, futurism, art....

He is working right now on a 3D printer; the other "woman" in our relationship would be the internet LOL...

Yes I really hope that too, he is seriously the sweetest thing I have ever met!

And that is also the nicest thing to be more interested in creative projects and your work of a living than going out after other women! My s.o. is likewise, he has pluto in 6th house also, and he is much more interested in his projects and own creative transformation than "going out"

I think it also says something about that they are more personally mature

I have pluto in the sixth....Uranus Conjunct Mercury in the seventh in sagitaris...and Saturn in scorpio in the sixth...

I am like that too. I want someone to join forces with who will let me disappear into the basement or office to work on projects, reading, research, etc...and then I would like to have brief but highly intense and explosive romance, trips to foreign places, and very, very deep conversations....

So I do need freedom. I may never find that person. I don't look. My nn is in Taurus in the 12th house. I'm to build up into a river and merge with another river. Currently I'm just a Lilly-pond in terms of resources. In the meantime I'm married to my goals...and they are good, grounded, realistic goals that will really enable me to be in a position to help others in some respect because I need to feel useful on an intellectual level.

Thank you!
