Never knew he was such an activist lol... Preach it My favorite part is the facial expressions/reactions of the people he's talking to...

Anyway, according to astrotheme he's a Cap Asc, but idk that wouldn't be my first thought before looking it up lol and it also says he was born at exactly 12 AM (weird...)

Any thoughts?

^Yeah I noticed that too.. And T Neptune hasn't even hit his opposition exact yet, I can only imagine lol it's probably going to get weirder with him

His Neptune conjuncts my moon though and I have to admit I find him attractive lol

And if that birth time is accurate we have Saturn-Asc DW, (not to sound too intense analyzing my synastry with a random celebrity lol it just stood out) but I just don't see him as a Cap Asc... Although it would make sense for him to have progressed Asc in Aqua or Pisces

Hmm yeah it's possible, Pluto conj Asc would make sense, but even with that Libra seems too conservative imo

But after reading more into it apparently midnight is the time he gave personally so yeah it was probably just a theatrical answer and not completely accurate...

eta, Ok so just have to say the more I read about him the more he might be a legit celebrity crush lol

The whole Katy Perry thing made me think negatively of him, but who knows the details of the actual circumstances, and yeah I actually have some increased respect...

He also has this youtube channel called "The Trews" where he analyzes the mainstream media and news sources.. definitely hilarious and worth watching (maybe it's not actually that interesting but is to me personally since I strongly considered going into professional journalism not all that long ago.. Was going to double major in Uni, until I realized first hand how much of complete bs it really is)

I never liked Russel in his early days. He was always witty but I thought he had poor values and no depth. He's completely transformed and I love him now.

Actually I do think he seems like a Cap AC.

Watch this interview. He's frickn awesome. http://youtu.be/ADJhErmJuoQ

Lol yeah that video is too perfect. And true, my hunch is he was born "around" midnight so he could still be a Cap Asc, the degree would just be off... Aqua Asc would make a lot of sense to me too though.

I suppose the way he talks reminds me of Aqua. I just see more Cap because of his sense of humour. It's that weird but intelligent humour that I see in Caps.
It's also typical for Cap Asc to want to constantly rise to that next level wether it be socially or in business. Maybe in his case he wants to rise to the next level spiritually.

To those who say he reminds more of an aqua asc; he clearly looks like he has capricorn influence. And don't forget that he's got uransus square asc, which i think accounts for allot of he's behaviour.

I don't understand a word he says and his voice is comparable to a screeching cat or nails on a chalk board.

Eta- I would not guess him to be a capricorn ascendant as they tend to come across as dignified and "pulled together" russel doesnt imho

I love Russell Brand.

He was born the same day, same year as Angelina Jolie. Both Wood Rabbits ~ this is a sensitive and empathic energy that I see in both of them, and I think it's a big part of their activism.

Did you see him in the celebrity video I am Bradley Manning?

Manning is also a Rabbit, which tends to be an intellectual, non-confrontational sign... but Rabbits do step out with a megaphone under extreme circumstances, trying to establish peace and order.

(ETA: Johnny Depp is a Gemini Rabbit like Russell and Angelina; he's also an activist. I know he was crusading for the amnesty of Damien Eckols, for example.)

Also, I've been thinking of how Russell and Angelina both demonstrate the accuracy of this reading on their nodal axis, from one of my favorite books, "The Secret Language of Destiny":

quote:
The Way of Reform

Those born during the Way of Reform are tremendously energetic. They are here to overthrow established systems and institute new ways of viewing or doing things. Reform has many meanings. In one respect it represents a revolutionary toppling of existing mores or organizations. However, it can also mean a return to a more traditional approach, sometimes after an extended period of innovation. Moreover, it also implies “re-creation,” an act of creativity that gives something a new or more vital form. These people will be called to involve themselves in all the aforementioned aspects of reform. In order to do this, they must first deeply involve themselves in the status quo, for only by understanding the traditions of the past and present can they make revolutionary corrections that will be of benefit to all. In this respect, they are both masters of tradition and potent forces for change. Finally, as much as they would prefer otherwise, they must not be content to merely change society but are also fated to learn how to reform their own moral and value systems.

....The primary arenas of the kinds of reforms this necessitates may be social, cultural, or political. As revolutionaries, they will home in on the systems, institutions, or modes of thought in society that appear to them to be outdated or, worse, dangerous. Once engaged, they tend to have extreme views, and often they will express a disdain for anything that smacks of the middle way. Developing a more balanced approach will certainly help them to succeed. Part of their task, too, is to learn how to use the arts of war—strategy and planning—to achieve their aims.
