NON-CHART- RELATED PROGRESSIONS:

The following ephemeris page ( fig. 24 on p. 104) is the portion of time given to Jeanne d'Arc in her short life. She was born on January 6, 1412 and died on May 30, 1431, at age 19. The period in the ephemeris, that represents her life in progressions is from January 6 to January 25, 1412. There are four obvious astronomical phenomena occurring during this time period: Figure 24. Ephemeris for January, 1412.

1) On January 12th, Saturn turned direct.

This date is the progressed date for when Jeanne was 6 years old. There do not appear to be any records covering that period of her life.

2) On January 19th, Jupiter stationed turning retrograde.

This date corresponded to when Jeanne was 13-14 years old. At this time she started to hear voices in her head telling her of her mission. A slow-moving planet will take a whole year to change direction, so one can't place an exact date in Jeanne's life for this astrological event. However, it does symbolize a Jupiterian event manifesting from the very depths—or heights —of Jeanne's unconscious. From her perspective, God spoke to her, giving her a message. She felt this message so strongly that it propelled her into taking action which not only totally changed her life but also led to her death. The retrograde movement is a movement towards the inner reflection and introverted quality of that planet's energy. Hearing the voice of God fits this symbolism.

3) On January 23rd/ 24th, Venus conjoined Uranus.

This exact conjunction between these two progressed planets corresponded in Jeanne's life to February 14,1429. In January of that year she went, for the second time, to the army at Vaucouleurs and insisted that her voices be heard.
She left Vaucouleurs (having convinced the Captain of the Guard of her genuineness) about the 13th February 1429, dressed in men's clothes and accompanied by six men-at-arms.
With this Venus-Uranus progression, Jeanne had the strength to confront the Captain a second time, after an earlier attempt to convince him had failed. She had summoned the determination and desire to encounter a whole new group of people— the French Court. Throughout the rest of her short life she willfully continued to dress in men's clothes, even after being ordered by the Church to stop dressing in that fashion. One speculates that— had she lived long enough— the progression would have passed and Jeanne could have returned to the expected and accepted behavior patterns of a 15th century maiden.

4) On January 24th, Mars conjoined the South Node.

This conjunction relates to the time when Jeanne was 18 years old. The exact conjunction between Jeanne's progressed Mars and her progressed South Node (mean) corresponded to May 7, 1429.

On the evening of May 4th (1429), when she was resting, Jeanne suddenly sprang up, apparently inspired, and announced that she must go and attack the English.

This was her first entry into battle and produced a victory for the French and the liberation of Orleans by the “Maid of Orleans.” Jeanne was driven to this point; driven by a deep force from within.

In these examples of non-chart-related progressions, we have Jeanne hearing voices in her head. This was a totally subjective, internal experience or, as Jeanne insisted, a very real and personalized message from God— or the Cosmos. Either way, it was a phenomenon which Jeanne experienced inside herself. The determination to wear men's clothing—regardless of conflict or consequence— and the sudden inspiration to fight, when she was meant to be resting, are the results of a deep internal subjective process which is the domain of the non-chart-related progression.

These are only brief examples of the power of the Cosmos on your subjective world. There is intense determination to move in a given direction generated by a deep feeling that—despite all advice— you know you are right.

I've found a post that seems to corroborate this information here.

Re: progressed moon conjunct pluto?

Hello,

I've just had this. A close female relative who got married and moved abroad in the last couple of years had her first child, another close female relative broke up with her fiance just a month before she was due to get married, she has been facing a very difficult time and feelings of bitterness but as a result has started to learn about buddhism and mindfulness, my mum was diagnosed with a life changing illness about a year ago and has been having trouble coming to terms with the fact that she can no longer do the things she used to be able to do, her emotional state has been especially noticeable to me when the progression was exact, and I have also been coming to terms with relationships that did not work out in the past and trying to see a new way forward. For me it has mainly been about significant women in my life facing pluto themes, and I agree with Miquar's comment that it deepened my relationship with those women.

Also my next door neighbour's husband died, but he was very old and unwell and I was not close to that neighbour so I'm not sure if that was just coincidence but pluto does rule my 3rd house.

Approximately a month after the progressed moon hit my natal pluto it hit my progressed pluto. This was a time of more dramatic incidents. My credit card details were stolen, but the bank did refund the money, 3 female relatives were granted asylum in Australia and I had a colossal argument with my mother because I want to get a job rather than live on her money and look after her pets which culminated in my mother saying she thought I was bipolar for getting emotional about the fact that she refused to discuss the issue (my mum is an air sign not comfortable with emotional displays whereas I am a water sign, on the other hand my mother is a plutonian with pluto on her ascendant), and if it hadn't been for the fact that there was a medical professional in the room at the time to say no I'm not bipolar I could be on the way to being unnecessarily medicated by now or at least doubting myself.

She experienced even more intensity with the Non-Chart related progression of her pMoon conjunct pPluto.

My pMoon is closing in on my pNeptune and I'm wondering what will happen.

Have any of you experienced non-chart related progressions more intensely than chart-related progressions? Any interesting stories to share?

Your question confused me. Let me know if I answered it properly.

Neptune-moon:
According to my yearly transit report in astro.com, progressed moon square Neptune means you get several paragraphs describing "emotional fog." It said I'll feel like I've met "the one" but it will be an illusion. The one can also mean potential best friend, potential ideal social circle, potential anything you fantasize about. I'd assume conjunction would have both positives and negatives.

I have this coming up for a couple of months starting in August. I'm not looking forward to it.

On the bright side, I'm getting love transits from 2015 to 2017.

Progressed chart transits:

I've had transits to progressed planets and they hit slightly less hard than transits to natal. The one I can think of is the one I'm experiencing right now. Progressed descendant meets transit Saturn. My love life is learning to prioritize the right choices over the wrong ones.

Transit Saturn to natal descendant hit much harder. It hurt like losing a body part. Then I got a generous BF out of it.

If you meant progressed planet to progressed planet, I'll look it up in my transit reports. I know I had something.

I'll have to look up more specifics later. I'm about to start working any minute.

Sorry for being confusing, Sag!

I did mean progressed to progressed planets. The author thinks that when a progressed planet aspects another progressed planet it's unstoppable and you don't have a choice. I was wondering if other people have experienced this with their own secondary progressed planets?

Have a good day at work!

Yes. Progressed to progressed are more powerful than Progressed to natal.

For me, pMars sq nSaturn was a blip and something I could work with. However, pMars sq pSaturn is when I really got the wind knocked out of me. tough! tough! tough!

The Moon is quick so that shouldn't last long. If you're accustomed to visions and dreams and stuff, Moon/Neptune should be familiar territory.

Thanks again, Nine!

I'm definitely used to dreams and visions. The last year has been full of dreams (the ones where you're asleep and seeing things, not wishes ha) coming true so I'm curious about what a full conjunction will bring.
