I am THERE during a crisis for someone else, but I hear crickets chirping when I am going through one.

I know how that feels

One aspect (out of many) it could be is
South Node in the 4th house.

South Node is Karma you carry with you so if it's in the 4th house that would be family members who do not live up to your ideals or standards that you feel families should live up to.
Could be dysfunctional.

One thing about Karmic planets, they are our sore/soft spots, it's what we try to fix or come to terms with.
We tend to overcompensate with our own families, making sure they never go through our pain or disappointments.

Sun is father, moon mother and I *think* mercury is siblings.

If they are in "sad house" or signs I could see it.
Or debilitated
Or aspectsed by melific planets

The 2nd (family happiness), 3rd (siblings), and 4th (mother) houses are family houses; 10th (father).
If their lords are the above maybe a possibility

Thank you LalaLinda & FairAqua. This has been a running theme throughout my life. You all have given me some MAJOR insights. This Grand Cross even in its appliance & dissolution has really messed with my life. I have dealt wiith sudden death in human & pet form within the last few months. As usual, I am surrounded by people, yet really alone. I have to go be with my Daisy canine baby. Her body is failing her & I taking her to be put down tomorrow. Thanks again.

Hello, Fireopal.

Some families are very tight-knit and loyal but others value educational and financial achievements over closeness. Even the supposedly tight-knit ones can be a bit of a let-down.

Yes, the south node explanation feels right.

I hope you feel less sad about your pet over the coming months.
