Have you ever had a relationship with another person when both of you got the same rising sign? How does it work? Isn't it funny or just weird? I personally think that's a bit unsual but enchanting.IP: Logged |

My s.o and I both have cap rising. Conjunct nearly exact. It's not particularly weird. We just "get" each other well although we often have different opinions (our sun squares). It helps greatly, we can sorta put ourselves in each other's shoes. Brings out the best in us.I got on very well with my cousin. She once commented that we're peas from the same pod. Our asc conjunct. But there are other people whose ascendants conjunct mine and we don't feel that way towards each other. So yah guess it's a bit of a hit and miss.

okay, so... now I'm in a doubt (I'm still learning). Doesn't it matter if you got the same rising as your partnet but it HAS to make an aspect in order to be important? I mean, if person A got cancer rising and person B too but both of them doesn't make any aspect, it doesn't really matter? Or just the fact that they got the same rising automatically makes a conjuction?IP: Logged |

Hi, I’m still learning too So as far as I know, there are conjunction by sign and conjunction by degree. If two people have the same rising sign but the degrees are too far apart then their asc only conjunct by sign. I think that maybe it’s more significant if they conjunct by sign as well as by degree.Hope that other members will chime in.

I do... 12 degrees apart. It's difficult for me to say how it affects us in the internal parts of the relationship as many other aspects play very big roles. They say your asc is how you act outward towards strangers and such... Or in our case even family to a large degree since we're 12th housers, both of us natally and in synastry. (generally private even if we appear fully open) What I have noticed is we always seem to come across the same. There isn't like... The quiet one, nice one, funny one... We're just one. Very bonded in the eyes of the public. We're are very bonded, best friends and such. There's a couple workers that we run into regularly when we go grocery shopping and they call us, "their favorite couple" IP: Logged |

I have cancer ascendant 17 degrees and my s.o. got cancer ascendant (0 degrees) OR a very late gemini ascendant… but I think I'm 99,99% sure that he is an very early cancer ascendant cause he really behaves that way…I think it is what got me attracted to him in the first place, cause he is a libra sun and I'm virgo sun, so I think I got attracted by this soft side of him that goes very well with my own softer side… it's not conjunct but I can definitely see how much we are alike and it helps the mutual understanding IP: Logged |

lol I also felt like this in the beginning, also because we share the same moon sign and we look a lot like each other even…but you know, just got to forget those thoughts cause we are not related biologically IP: Logged |

I'd like to meet up with another Aries Asc.If we don't end up in bed, by the end of the day, I'll know that Asc-Asc attractions aren't relevant. IP: Logged |

have had it happen twice. didn't like it. it felt like we were 'conning' each other all the time; that I was seeing myself in the other person and disliking the very traits I had as well. I think it can work for instant friendship and simpatico thoughIP: Logged |

The problem with astrology - trying to separate everything out. Like trying to take the chocolate out of chocolate milk... Good luck. IP: Logged |

my partner and i both have gem asc. i like it. we also have gem sun and mars together....i feel like we are about 20 people in two. and i like it. we always make eachother laugh, have a good symbiosis going on and really understand eachother. there is definitely a brother-sister vibe between us, but that is just a small slice of the whole. Those filthy copypasters. Filth!! Asc is your personality, on immaterial level. On material, your body. Can you differentiate a Cancer Sun from a Sagittarius Sun? If you can, you'll manage the rest too. IP: Logged |

This is one of the better synastry placements to have with a partner, I had a gf for over 3 years same sign though 20 or so degrees apart, the closer I would say the better you get the person but in the same sign is very good regardless. I would say in terms of synastry close to sun-sun in the same sign of girl's moon matching guys rising sign. One thing about sun-sun though is you can bring out the best or worst in the other person, for example pisces pisces can be good but both can be prone to addiction and it could turn to validating or making it easier for the other person to abuse substances and vice versa. Same about scorpio sun-sun accept I would say even more of a challenge..both are into control and domination, can't have both of those in the relationship though it can work. One of Linda Goodman's mantras I read, love can trump planetary influences and I do believe in that.IP: Logged |
