What transits is dangerous when they happen in the natal chart when you are together with a guy???

I just realized something crazy…ever since I met my boyfriend jupiter has been in a very favorite place for both of us, first it was transiting his ascendant, then my jupiter, then my ascendant, and then his jupiter around mid-summer! It is all conjunctions which makes us very happy-go-lucky and loves to make fun!!! BUT when these transits are over around autumn this year, it will probably be very challenging and then other transits might come in and do something….bad??

What transits should I watch out for??? Is it mainly Mars and Uranus hard aspect that makes life a living hell?

And credits to astrology for being so damn cool!!

Of course it always depends on the individual.

However, having a solar arc Uranus or Neptune in conjunction/square/opposition/even quindecile to natal Venus/Moon/ASC/DESC/ruler of 7th house can spell trouble (though with Neptune it could also feel soulmatey).

solar arc Pluto or Saturn can be difficult, too; depends on the foundation of the relationship. Sometimes it even strengthens a relationship and makes it VERY deep and comitted, at other times, breaks it up.

If you have such solar arcs (and possibly more than one), the secondary progressed Moon or outer planets transits, espcially to the solar arc/ natal aspects can act as a trigger. Something has to change and it will change. The positive way would be to implement the change yourself, as a couple. If not it will seem like the change will be imposed on you. And especially in the case of Uranus that often is a sudden disruption/ breaking up, and in case of Neptune an erosion/fading away of that which is there.

Uranus in strong aspect to Sun and ASC and ruler of 1st can be quite challenging, too, as it triggers a need or urge for individuality, evoking a certain self-centredness, which could be detrimental to a relationship.

Personally I think though if both people are highly Uranian in nature, it might actually become them, and they might like it.
If they are highly Saturnian or Plutonian when it comes to relationship (check especially VEnus, 7th house, ruler of 7th house, 5th house, ruler of 5th house and possibly 8th house for finding out), the Uranus transit or direction or progression might feel like a tremendous shock, disrupting the very foundations of their lives.

Also if a solar arc or progressed or transiting aspect repeats a natal configuration, it will be very significant.

For example sa Neptune square natal Moon with Transiting Neptune conjunct natal Moon (seems a bit like overkill, but it happens. lol) and you natally have Moon trine Neptune, have a VERY close look at what is happening in the natal. Where is this Moon-Neptune aspect falling? Which signs, houses? Which houses are ruled by Moon and Neptune? Which other planets aspect it?
That might give you an impression how it could manifest.

Davison writes in his book on progressions, a very old one, but boy I learned a LOT, and still am processing it. lol, that a progressions (I suppose smae goes for solar arc) will usually manifest the way the natal aspect dictates, which means if you have a harsh progression but a rather nice stimulating natal aspect, the effect might not be as dramatic or disruptive as the aspect had you believe, it gets a little more productive and smoother.

However if you have a nice harmonious progression (let`s say pr Venus trine n Pluto) but the natal aspect if in existence is harsh (Venus square Pluto), watch out, even the harmonious trine might wake up some sleeping dogs, though at the same time could be helpful in transforming the aspect.

Of course the harmonious aspects in progression or solar arc are usually not that impressive; however I believe IF they mirror an existing natal aspect, they should not be underestimated.

Solar arc is a form of directing, similiar to the progressions, just that you move every planet forward with the same amount of degrees your Sun passed since your birth.

For example:

I have natal Neptune on 10 Sagittarius; when I was 15 years old, my solar arc Neptune was on 25 SAgittarius, and in orb (1 degree AT MOST) to conjunct my natal Sun-Mercury-conjunction on 25 Sagittarius.

Solar arcs are actually quite reliable event-triggers.

you can find them on astro.com, together with the progressions.

(I don´t agree with him on secondary progressions though; they are a very valuable tool as well).

Thanks for that, Ceri
So basically the progressed aspect "wakes up" the natal aspect, whichever the natal aspect is.
