do you tend to be single for long periods? are you more interested in learning self love in this life than being in a relationship? if you are in a relationship is it unusual with Uranian types?IP: Logged |

I just read the stupidest descriptions of venus retrograde. they are hard to love, they have low self esteem, they are loners, they don't get married at all or later in life, they don't understand art.. WTH? both my friend and I have venus rx and we are artists. Married early in life too . IP: Logged |

Hi awakemer, as Venus in R i can tell you that "...with no understanding for arts" is total bullxx. Most of my friend (99%) are painters, poets, writers, photographers etc.. I totally attract that kind of energy and I am my self quite naturally more expressive then those "others"..Actually I kinda have a hard time relating to dry, non creative, rationalists and homo faber type of people which again makes me in a way appear as a loner. Am I hard to love? Well...humm..I would say a challenge lol. My honesty and temper can suck but also be very attractive. I was married, now divorced. Would I marry again? Maybe, if i find the right one.. All my life I had too many man around (wanting me for what ever reason) which was hard cos they were blocking my view , not letting me see the right one. Now I am in my " loner" modus, hiding and observing from the far. I learned only to let people i am very interested in in to my life. Btw, while I was living on "one" Greek island I got the name " wild goat" . Always alone in the "wildness" , never in the pack, hard to catch, shoot, but with a fantastic meat ahahaha..yes, people told me that I am exactly like that. So, I hope I helped you understand Venus R a bit better dear. * IP: Logged |

i have venus R in Scorpio. Sometimes it is listed as SD, so I'm not sure. On the contrary, you are more likely to find me in a relationship. Though I'm single now. about a year, after a +/- 15 yr relationship. I'm not an 'artist' per se, but I'm super crafty. I make all kinds of crafty pretty things. Far from having low self esteem. I like quirky people but all my BFs have been the dependable types. I guess they like quirky people as I think i'm quite quirky. Not hard to love! I'm totally lovable! IP: Logged |

I have an Unaspected venus which is different but a Retro planet makes one go very, very inward before one can come outward.------------------ Want To Ask Any Question About Bible Prophecy? Go For it. It is Free, of course. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

I only live up to the stereotype of the retro Venus (Virgo) in that I am single for long periods of time, but mostly because I tend to attract (and sometimes be attracted to) the wrong people at the wrong time. Also, I don't like initiating things, in part because whenever I have tried to initiate things, the guy almost immediately turns and runs. So I don't initiate, however, waiting isn't exactly my strong suit either, because I tend to overthink and then wait too long. Finding that balance has not been easy for me. So no, I am not INTERESTED in learning self-love, however, I do sometimes feel like I am being forced to learn it through circumstance. And yes, I have been involved with Uranian types in the past, but mostly because I am also a Uranian type (Uranus square Venus). Other than that... I've never heard the rVenus not being able to appreciate art. I am actually involved in several different artistic endeavors (currently I am acting in a play, but I also dance, sing, and write). I actually tend to channel my energies into artistic pursuits when I don't have a lot of other things going on because it keeps me social, it keeps me engaged in life, and I enjoy using my very lovely natural talents. Plus, I hate the idea of just sitting at home constantly in front of screens. Living life is where its at! Really, what I have always hated about the definitions I have read of retro Venus is the fact that, across the board, all definitions treat it like it is a punishment. They all treat it like it is this insurmountable, unchangeable thing. While I have certainly felt more challenged in the relationship area of my life than in other areas, I certainly don't feel like it is impossible to manage or that I am inherently a bad/unlovable person because of it.
