Hi! I have a question, if a person has been married more than one time and the first marriage is identified on the AC (it can be either the natal chart or progressed, correct?), where would the 2nd marriage be identified at (and what might the indicators be aspects with -- juno, asteroids, venus)?? thanks for any sharing of knowledge :-) IP: Logged |

Technically, the first marriage is shown by the DSC, and the second marriage is shown by the 9th house. Can't remember why exactly, but that's how it goes. Mutable signs on the DSC, and the DSC ruler in a mutable sign can indicate more than one marriage. Mercury or Jupiter conjunct the DSC or in the 7H can also point to that. IP: Logged |

I was wondering the same thing! What exactly would you look for in regards to the 9th house? Transits or progressions? My DSC is leo (fixed) but it's conjunct my mercury. I'm divorced but would like to think a second marriage is in my future Any insight on this topic is appreciated!IP: Logged |

Yeah I don't have any of those identifiers on my DSC either. I've got chiron on my DSC. In my 7H, there's mars. In my 9H cancer, there's saturn/s. Node quincunx my venus/juno in 4h of libra. I wonder if marriage without intentions of divorce would not show any of the obvious signs. I don't know.IP: Logged |

What similar things apply to the 9th and second marriages? BTW. It applies to me... Aries Dsc and Mars in Virgo. Just stating that I'm an example of that rule.

I have a capricorn Desc. Saturn is in Libra. My husband's desc is Libra. Venus is in Taurus. Is this correct? We are happily married. Together since march 2008.

This makes sense as not all of us marry(or are allowed to ehem....) I find the whole 7th house to 9th house business tricky to accept. Doesn't one still attract their 7th house partner? Only in the next instance, the good qualities are further emphasized? In the pyschological sense? Say, for instance, someone who has Pisces on the 7th house and has Saturn there. During a strong Neptune transit, their marriage dissolves; either the spouse gets involved with the wrong crowd, becomes unreliable or the affection for them is no more etc. Whatever the reason may be, the individual will still be drawn to the 7th house partner characteristics but, this time, with the good qualities of their ex further emphasized by the new spouse. So, when Mars transits the 5th house, she starts an affair with a dashing personal trainer who provides both physical and security needs and she decides to marry him. Wouldn't this spouse resemble the 1st? Only in this instance, the personal trainer, is organized, well-put together and a lot more dependable. I find it hard to believe that you'll marry someone(as the 1st marriage is definitive-no matter the nature) only to then do a total 360 with the second spouse bearing no resemblance whatsoever to the 1st. I'm going with A23D on this one. I have Taurus dsc/Saturn and I love men who are Taurus like. I can't see myself going for a Cancer guy by any strech of the imagination. Maybe a Taurus type who's a bit more expressive romantically. But no way fully on Cancerian. IP: Logged |

Good day! So I'm going to post my chart to use as an example for learning purposes on this topic. I am the sun in aquarius. The man that I am in relationship now is cusp of Taurus and Gemini. My ex husband is a Sagittarius. Thoughts on what the indicators of marriage, divorce, remarriage (and with actual correlation to people involved?) are using this chart as an example.... ? [/URL] As always, any sharing of thoughts, knowledge and insight is greatly valued. IP: Logged |
