Topic: Why is a heavy 12H composite frowned upon?

Only posted a chart like this once and immediately I read a response highlighting deception. Almost as if such things are guaranteed To what extent? Anyone have experiences with a heavy 12H composite or synastry even?

No, they aren't guaranteed. However energy either natally or synastrically gets buried when it's in the 12th. You don't know what you're dealing with.IP: Logged |

I would read it as a Chart with Karmic implications.
Any time you have heavy water house activity, you're working off Karma.

I feel that people who frown upon it are the ones who've never experienced it and assume it's bad because it's 12th house. I have very heavy 12th house synastry with my fiancé and we both have it natally. I think it helps when both people involved have it natally, because they're used to the energy themselves. They aren't afraid of it. I think that 12th house anything is very karmic, creates very deep feelings and emotions at dark, deep lengths. It's absolutely not for the weak hearted that's for sure. In my opinion, it all comes from ancient views of the world, reflected in astrology, which were saturated with Manichaeism. Hell vs. heaven, malefics vs. benefics, "bad" houses vs. "good" houses, all outdated, if you ask me. But that's just my personal view. Everything, each planet, house etc. has equal "good" "bad" connotations.Being a "final" house, so to speak, it does relate to a certain "culmination": for a spirit reaching a luminous peak, highly spiritual and positive, for a spirit reaching a dark peak, it enhances/shows darkness. Too fatalistic of an approach for me, and it disregards the power of free will. A + B does not ALWAYS = C. I can see the karmic interpretation. Some people are more in tune with what needs to be taken care of in regards to their natal 12H. Sometimes, when those two people come together, they offer some light in the troubled areas and aid the native in seeing a path that they originally did not think was possible. It might not be the most fun relationship but that doesn't mean it can't be rewarding and worth the time and energy. IP: Logged |

This guy and I have Sun/Venus conjunction DW. I have Mars/Saturn tight in my 12H. My Sun conjuncts his venus in 12H. His Moon/Mars at a wider orb sits in there as well. He's a Pisces ASC, I am Scorpio ASC. We are both fairly natural with this water complexity however we've only been friends who are now finally realizing just how crazy this feels. We absolutely have that psychic connection going on right now; we've never really paid much attention to this. However, as I've looked back he has always been awkward towards me, like I make him uneasy. He's been very attracted to me, however he was married. IP: Logged |

Barbiegirl19 I totally agree. Nothing has yet to intimidate me pertaining to synastry, and acknowledging what I have with this person has opened my eyes. Very intrigued!!! LeeLoo2014 thank you for sharing that. I can reference there charts and I enjoy doing so. For me this is organic, very into feeling vs. over thinking. While I get that emotions can supposedly get "clouded"…he and I have a very natural, connected flow. We're not running from it. IP: Logged |

my brother`s and his girlfriend`s compositeThey just have passed their Saturn REturn I think, or his girlfriend might still have to go through it.
Anyway they have been together for 8 years, been living together for several of these years.
Nothing secret about their relationship either.
They also have pronounced 12th house overlays in synastry.
Her Venus in his 12th house
his Sun, Venus, Mars, ASC in her 12th house, and his Mercury conjunct her 12th house cusp from 11th house. It seems to have been working for them so far.

There are, however, astrological signs of soulmates, aren't they? And composite/synastry water houses, especially the 12th as a fated, culmination house, the house of the Pisces, the patron of unconditional love, the last sign encompassing the lessons of all the other signs before him and taking them into transcendence, is considered by modern astrology one of these signs, it's one of the possible connotations of a 12th house composite.
