My boyfriend and I have the following aspects to the nodes:Synastry: His North Node: Squares my Moon Squares my Sun Trines my Venus Squares my Uranus Quincunxes my Ceres His South Node: Squares my Moon Squares my Sun Sextiles my Venus Square my Uranus
My North Node: Squares his Venus Squares his Saturn Sextiles his Uranus Squares his Juno Trines his As
My South Node: Squares his Venus Squares his Mars Trines his Uranus Squares his Juno Trines his Ds Composite North Node (Part of a Grand Cross)- Opposite Mars Square Moon Sextile Pallas I see a lo of squares...are we screwed? Is there a chance of things working? I am still not really clear on what the whole karmic relationship means. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks IP: Logged |

Squares to the nodes are considered a "marriage" aspect. More binding be wuss they hit both the NN a d SN so it gives familiarity.IP: Logged |

Squares are simply energy. When you see a square from one planet to another it means there is energy there. How energy is manifest is entirely up to the entity with which the energy is applied. So when it affects the nodes, it speaks to us about past lives. Spirit knows we have had a bzillion of those. What may be more interesting is finding out if it is an applying square or not. They now use the term first quarter and third quarter to show the difference. When it is applying ... it tends to have MORE energy. I am not sure if this is of any help...IP: Logged |

My NN & Asc Conjuncts my husband's IC ; so it squares his asc. He has sun n mercury widely conjuncting his asc. He has Pluto sitting on his desc. Also my IC,saturn n vertex conjuncts his desc. So this theory works for us : ) IP: Logged |

I'm not sure if aspects to the nodes really matter unless it is a conjunction. Conjunctions to the nodes DEFINITELY have an impact. But squares, trines, sextiles etc... to nodes, I'm not so convinced they make a difference in synastry. I don't know if anyone else feels the same way or if I'm just not seeing it right.IP: Logged |

Well, I think a square is generally "eventful"; a square to the Nodes: a turning point. A permanent square to the Nodes, like in synastry: the turning point and the event is the relationship itself. And this is just one aspect of this combination, IMO. IP: Logged |

BTW, if I remember correctly, this is one of those aspects that was discovered statistically, not the other way around, as a hypothesis that proved to be correct. (I mean luminaries square nodes and Saturn square nodes)IP: Logged |

Thanks for all your responses. I am not sure what an "applied square" is. How can one tell?IP: Logged |
