People with a Sag Sun/Moon/Mercury/Asc. When you detect brainwhashing somewhere, does it tend to make you angry? Is the pursuit of truth imporant for you?

Upset if it's someone who affects me or my life. Detecting it in general, irritated. Throw in a good dose of condescension. That's really the root: condescension for the brainwashed.

Sag sun merc Uranus Saturn.

Yes.. Nothing is more irritating really than knowing someone is openly lying/manipulating and actually getting away with it lol (and this applies especially to larger ideals and belief systems such as religion, education, etc...)

I knew a Sag rising who constantly lied. Moons too are like this. Sag can be one worst about this.

People can lie and still be allergic to other people's lies. I used to be a pathological liar. I still hated watching the brainwashers and brainwashees.

^Agreed, takes one to know one If I lie it's usually to conform to a society that has already been brainwashed by lies

Who wouldn't get angry? And yes, truth is very important to me, probably because I can't lie myself.

I grew up in a socially accepted cult, when I woke up....I could have spit fire I was so angry at what they had done to me....thank god my mars is in the verbal sign of gemini if it had been on aries or scorpio, I probably would have burned a couple of their churches to the ground. I would have stood there watching it to, n when the cops came I'm sure they would identify the cause of the fire! My huge grin and absolute joy as I watched it burn to the ground would have given me away!
But I'm better now! Lol
So brainwashing infuriates me and ppl who conform to it like it's no big deal....ugh!! When they try to justify it, or act like their beliefs based off the brainwashing are correct...whoa! I want to shake them into reality or at the very least rip them up one side n down the other verbally until they got what is being done to them and woke up.
I know that's not the best course of action. I realized have to maintain myself, but that is always my initial reaction, though.
Actually to wake someone up you do kind of have to shock them into reality, I know that from personal experience!!
As for liars, can't stand them...I can't stand being around ppl who are not ok with the truth either...if I have to manipulate something for you not freak out...like I grew up having to do, I'm done!
I grew up believing or trying to lie to myself to believe I was happy, I didn't want friends, I didn't like music, I didn't like anything like that was considered part of "Satans World" , including birthdays, holidays, having friends that were not part of the religion...I loved being alone constantly! It was awesome!! Not really....
Now if I have to lie I won't I'll just get away from the ppl!
But my saggy Sun/Merc makes a 1degree trine to Saturn, I think that keeps saggy on a tight leash!

Saggy Sun/Merc/Nep
Mars is in my 9th house

I'm have Sun/Ascendant/Uranus conjunct in Sag.

I hate liars. HATE THEM.

For some reason, all my exes were pathological liars. One of them actually had a Sag MOon (but all had very strong neptune/Pisces influences, afflicted Mercuries, etc).

My Mom has Sun/Moon/Mercury in Sag, and she is not a liar, but she exaggerates. A lot. As does my sister who has Sun/Mercury/Neptune conjunct in Sag. She'll say stuff like, 'omg you were 4 hours late' when I was only 5 minutes late. Stuff like that. It's annoying.

I've also found that a lot of Sags are very gullible.

@Gabby

You poor brave thing! Welcome to Satan's club

Fantasizing about destruction and acting on it are two different things. Fantasizing without acting is a good way to get the Scorpio side of you feeling better. And then eventually we all move on to happier pastures.... or to jail, depending on our choices . I'm glad you made it through this journey successfully.

Well just from outside observations sag moons are not reliable, get into lies disturbingly often, esp when a pisces sun is involved...

On the good side, they are funny-meaning the sag moons
and pisces can mend a broken heart( if they are not the ones breaking yours)

Lol...I love you guys!! Satan n all the members of his club, you are awesome!! Thank you for so warmly welcoming me in!

I'm glad I didn't burn anything down, honestly for awhile it was hard not to! I love fire..must be Pluto/Venus conjunct or maybe my scorpio Uranus square Saturn?

One time I decided to go on a road trip to find a place to move to out of state. At one of my stops, across the street from the hotel I was staying was one of "their" churches.
I started thinking about the fact that nobody knew me in that town, I had zero connection to it and nobody at home knew exactly where I had went....it was totally random that I was there.
Id even paid cash for my room and my signature on the room, well my signature is never legible......I could get away with it! Lol, but no, I didn't do it!
That was the last time I thought doing that. I guess in some weird way knowing I could have.... but choosing not to, gave me back some of the control they had taken for me.

Arson is about pain, betrayal and revenge for most female arsonists. Even though you left long before, the rage was still dominant. Realizing that you had control over yourself was probably a very important moment for you, wasn't it? It gave you the power to choose your own future over your taken past. And here you are, all bright and futurely now listening to music and having friends

Truth is relative.

Many Sagittarius people are self righteous and honestly believe that their way is the only way.

If I detect brainwashing somewhere, does it make me angry? Yes. But I really steer clear from getting angry or irate about things.

Is the pursuit of truth important to me? Yes. But the presence of peace of mind and happiness is stronger.

Yes it was!!! That was a very changing moment in time, it helped me release a lot of bottled up anger.
Pain betrayal and revenge? That is exactly what I felt!
Im so happy not to feel that anymore, n that I joined Satans world, you guys are so much more fun!

Brainwashing doesn't bother me so much, that's just the way of the world, and I worry more about my own programming rather than that of other people (unless they try to force--that is legislate or otherwise coerce--their BS on me when I try to be polite enough to not force my BS on them).

But the Truth (to understand for its own sake) is very important to me. That's not only a Sag placement but also Libra & Scorpio elements to my chart.

As for Sags lying, I've noticed Sags tend to lie for fun, more as a prank, rather than the usual reasons of either self-aggrandizement or trying to spare someone's feelings (many people think poorly of Sag for refusing to lie for the latter reason).

My Sag father has many vices but he's honest about them. I've only known him to lie about one thing in his life but then he'd have gone to prison if he told the truth (though to be fair I can't prove he's guilty of something he says he didn't do and it's conceivable I'm wrong about it, but I'm certain he lied about that one thing). This doesn't count Dad BSing you for a laugh.

Venus Saggi sextile Jupiter w/ Mars in the ninth. Yes, I get irritable when I see b.s. I am pretty damn upfront & blunt. Yes, I can have lied in the past.Usually it was to avoid jail or keep from getting beaten up by a psychotic boyfriend; so, I did not bend my ethics TOO much. That was your Maury Moment of the Day.

Although there are some absolute truths. Like, "I meant what I said." Or, "I ate an apple today."

I abhor deceit and lies. People who lie to me automatically drop below the respect line.

Sagittarius is susceptible to brainwashing like other signs and you just confirmed this yourself by saying 95% of humanity is brainwashed.

I have a lot of sag in me and I do search for the truth above all else but I dont think that is the sag in me that picks up brainwashing, I am acquainted with to many sag people to know better. A lot of sag don't question what they learn in school or hear in the media, they are smart in the sense that they learn well what is taught but they don’t' really question things too much.

People that seek the truth go beyond what is taught at school and dig much deeper than that. I think picking up on brainwashing and manipulation and deception is a pluto/scorpio thing and this doesnt mean that if you have moon in scorpio that you can't be manipulated and that you question what you are taught either...what you are trying to figure is great but complicated I guess.

You are asking a good question: Why do some people follow their instinct, can tell when they are been manipulated and lied to and keep searching and searching until they find the truth??

But if the news is telling you that so and so killed a person and you feel manipulated and your BS detector goes off and you know there is more to the story and the truth is been spinned or twisted or straight up been presented in a very deceptive way and you later find out that your gut is right then you have good instincts...

I have mercury in virgo retrograde conjunct MC and pluto in the 11th and my 12th cusp is in scorpio. I pick up on manipulation and brainwashing in different levels and have been this way since I was little.

My husband has mercury in scorpio in the 6th and he is good at researching and getting to the bottom of things and looking beneath the surface as well.

However mercury square pluto can be paranoid and off about the truth so its tricky and complicated the topic you touch...

Its a good question that is tough to answer and we should explore more..

I can say instincts, listening to your instincts, thirst for the truth and seeing beneath the surface while remaining objective and good analytical and research skills give you a good BS brainwashing detector..

Maybe jupiter in the 8th or jupiter in scorpio aspecting mercury....or mercury in soft aspects to pluto..
