Do you tend to laugh maniacally when you're frustrated?

I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy.

Interesting. yes...not maniacally (or do I?) but I used to have a nervous laughter. I decided to give it up still happens now and then, though.

I'm a Virgo moon, I just sit and worry. Sit and worry.... Then worry some more, then worry why I'm worrying.

Err, when I'm frustrated, no. But nervous, yes, like Leeloo.

Not when frustrated but at other times, yeah, like when something is funny. I used to have a huge problem controlling my laughter and would laugh for quite a while. People thought I was smoking weed but that was normal for me. I think my brain had a lack of regulation when it came to laughing or something like that because I would go into giggling fits over virtually nothing. One time I was at a funeral and got the giggles because for one thing, I was with my cousin and we always laughed when together, and for another, I couldn't always stop giggling. People held it against me for quite a while and said it meant I didn't care or was glad but it was just because I was with my cousins and laughed when with them. I have no idea why. Probably nervous or something or just inability to control giggling.
When frustrated, I am more of a ranter or just no talking period when aggravated about something. What I do is rant at the person, telling them what they did that I didn't like, then I stop talking to them and won't have nothing to do with them if I think they are nothing but pure evil and I have come across people who are just that and I regret ever encountering them.
It's never over little things either because I have a high tolerance but once they push me to that limit it's rant at them then bye-bye.

Oh, and of course they always hate me telling them, too but I try with them but they have zero respect so then they must be told. They must be dealt with appropriately.

No. The only anger-associated laughter that I have is sort of a short, dark laugh right before I let someone have it.

I do, however, often laugh at inappropriate times. More from awkwardness than anger, though.

Come to think of it... yeah, I do. Kinda.
Like when I have reached my limit with frustration, I do start to laugh, but I don't think maniacally. But it's more than a chuckle.

I don't laugh when I get nervous, though. That's too serious for me, lol.

I have that problem as well.
I thought I was the only one, lol.

I also rant when I get frustrated, but that's right after I laugh for a second and give up. Then, here comes the Virgo rant.

I hadn't thought about ranting being Virgo. Maybe it is? You should start a thread, lol.

Oh. I always assumed it was, since Virgo likes to complain and criticize.
Although, I think it could be more Virgo/Libra than just Virgo because Virgo will usually not want attention on itself, but Libra wouldn't mind it as much and be more social about it, telling more people about it. So Virgo/Libra releases what's bothering it. To bring it to "justice", so to speak, so it can hopefully be improved upon.

Virgo rising here. Mine's more a derisive chuckle (often accompanied by fretfully-spit expletives and some random observation about their worthiness to breathe air or some variation of the "your time"-"my time"-"our time" argument between Spiccoli and Mr. Hand in Fast Times at Ridgemont High).

Hunh. Just learned something about myself there.

I think nervous laughter is a consequence of second hand embarrassment. <--- numerous Virgo Asc/Moon around me confirm this.

Hahahaha... Yes I do actually. Sometimes it is nervous laughter, but sometimes it is because the situation has become so damn absurd that I have no other reaction. I tend to think that life is absurd though, and so sometimes the only way to relieve tension is to laugh (otherwise, you'll cry).

No... that sounds kind of pathological.

But I tend to laugh in inappropriate situations, and when nervous sometimes as well.

The worst is when I talk about very personal things. I can't stop either smiling or giggling. It's the most retarded thing ever. Nerves...

Yeah... that kind of thing.

We're crazy.

Oh and I rant, too. That's totally a Virgo thing.

This sounds like me. Also Virgo/libra. Then add Gemini to the mix. Definitely a ranter

Laughing manically isn't really my thing though. Virgo sun.

Yes, when stressed, i rather laugh!

Virgo rising
Libra Sun,Moon,Mercury
Gemini Mars

I remember when i and two my friends (girls) got lost in the middle of the night in one of the worst places in the city of another country we were visiting, and when we were almost late for the last metro, i began laughing soooo much, that my friends were even more frustrated with the situation!
