Any success stories with this aspect? What are your experiences? The positive side, if any? Unfortunately, the AC is unknown for one person, so I can't tell you the houses/rulers. Sun in Leo 28 conjunct Mercury in Leo 23 square Neptune in Scorpio 25. IP: Logged |

In the meantime, I found an interesting quote on lindaland by Samhain Scorpio:Theres plenty of positive potential in such an aspect! Its just you wont clearly see it until you face all the other confusions and imaginings in the way! The positive potentials vary but may include: Increased inspiration and power of imagination Dynamic psychic events and stimulation Exciting chemistry in creation or enjoyment of music Union on a spiritual level that is non-passive The evocation of spirit entities (obviously not desirable unless intended by both) Pushing for an ideal or for a compassionate cause. etc... Its all in how you handle the aspect (together in this case), NOT in the aspect itself, although we have more difficulty handling squares and oppositions than trines and sextiles because of certain tendencies in human nature. All aspects have positive (constructive) and negative (destructive) effects, because these poles are universal. The negative effect of a trine, for example, is to keep us flowing in a certain direction because it feels easy, when in fact we are headed for disaster. The square is an aspect that calls for something to be released so that something can happen. There is frustration and destructive effects when we resist this and eventually this frustration causes the needed release but by then in a way which seems very destructive to us, as we have held on to whatever has been released, resisting it. With Neptune these things are more tricky because it tends to creep up on us, invisibly, like a fog, until it is everywhere, and we havent a clue where we are or where we are going. This is because Neptune is where we have least hold on ourselves as a seperate, distinct individual-its where we are merged with the All, where we lose our identity in the collective. We are weak in terms of self awareness in ths area because it is the part of us where self awareness is absorbed in a universal consciousness. But often the thing to be released through a Neptune square is an attachment to an ideal, a vision, a cherished illusion or a dream, so that a more realistic and clear picture can be seen.
