Topic: NN in the 5th, obsession with youth?

Ever since my first human memories, I've been obsessed with youth. I was scared of ageing as a toddler, tried to pass for a young child as a teenager etc A lifetime obsession must show up Astrologically right? The only placements+aspects that stood out for me were: Moon in the 4th
Pluto in the 4th
Moon opposite Venus
Moon opposite Mercury
Moon square Ciron
Moon square AC But most importantly- NN in the 5th. What's your experience with this placement, or if you don't have the NN in the 5th, with any of the above listed Moon placements? Do you have/met anyone with a similar obsession?

I have Moon square Chiron and my NN is in the 5th house. I would like my body to look young (or at least good for its age) as long as possible but I don't think it's obsession (yet?) and it's rather common among women. Besides, in my case it's more about striving for perfection than vanity (Virgo ASC, woohoo). I'm more concerned about living very long. The thought of me living more than, let's say, 65 years disturbs me. But looking old is probably my smallest problem with it. It's hard to be sure how Chiron influences my Moon cause it's not my only affliction but I suspect it makes feeling like crap even more fun  And the NN works like it should - my goal is to make my life as enjoyable as possible (which includes...creativity!). I want it to be a fun ride. But don't imagine too wild scenes, Capricorn and Saturn will keep me in check  ------------------

I don't think it's the node. I've got it in the 5th, too, and it's quite the opposite for me, actually. I love celebrating my birthdays and I wear my age with pride. As a matter of fact, and talking about the node, I've felt much better and confident about my body since I started tackling those 5th house node issues, such as fun, creativity and meeting people of opposite sex. Same with me.I like to enjoy all the different colours and textures of my life. Experience all the Beauty and Flow of Nature as She has Her Divine Way with me. It is also a Be Here Now thing, if you are constantly trying to recapture something that is gone, you are not properly experiencing the Now. Kind of between Fourth and Fifth for me though. Probably because I am always a child no matter what anyway. IP: Logged | |
