I know an 8th house mars rx male with diagnosed ED.

eta - He did not have any trouble attracting women. Very charismatic and charming.

How can Mars retrograde make someone ugly? This is very absurd. The only real thing is that it works like Mars in 12th, emotions get repressed, but there is a lot of powerful energy that is locked away and only needs to be fine-tuned, these people can be good at athletics and have emotional resilience.

All retrograde planets have power potential, some of the most unusual minds have Mercury retrograde etc
