Ha... yes I stopped using the american version because of those posters. I sometimes will go to "yahoo answers India" for a Vedic questions though because you're less likely to get that sort of thing there. They are less preachy about that sort of thing in India I guess.

But I find that this forum has the most chance of getting an answer to most astrology questions. There are some good forums on astrology out there, but the traffic on them isn't active enough to get answers a lot of the time.

This site is better, tho I must admit real rookies/unpleasant people lurk here. I prefer pr and sp.

I started out there lol… it's years ago! I got very tired of that site too, from the same reasons as everyone else… there were a few experts in there I remember though, wish they all came in here instead…remember "the undertaker" and "saggiMC"?

Virgo Mercuries.. the lot of them!

PS. I'm sort of joking... but I do know a handful of different Virgo Merc people who have this reaction to anything that seems esoteric or 12th house/Piscean in nature. These subjects are too opposite their generally pragmatic thinking.

We do have some Virgo Mercs on LL though. The natal aspects to Mercury can definitely change things!

Fear of the unknown and discovery, some people don't like anything new or intellectually challenging and would rather do the same thing week in week out and do what they are told by the government. Believe what they are told ect.

Therefore they just reply with "astrology is bs, no one believes in that" because they haven't even thought for themselves what astrology actually is. They just follow the mainstream opinion.

Maybe they just wanted some entertainment. In Yahoo answers, horoscope section falls under Entertainment category after all.

Dont even try to ask about asteroids there....you will get preached to about how they dont matter and anyone who uses them is stupid!
Or at least that was the gist of every answerer there when i asked about an asteroid once....i found LL shortly after, TG!

I remember the Undertaker to, he was really cool...he had his picture on his profile for a bit.

My favorite was Amythyst, i used to send her a birthday gift every year, we became really good friends for awhile then she got sick and wasnt around as much!
