Saturn maybe, because it's a cold harsh cruel planet? I have moon inconjunct Saturn and trine Neptune, I don't mind the cold but I'm not fascinated with it. IP: Logged |

This is a great question, love it.I think some people can't stand the hit and prefer cold weather... What makes someone resilient to cold weather and very incompatible to hot weather?? IDK..the saturn theory sounds like something worth checking out. Although pluto is not a planet it is the coldest and then neptune.

Not true for me. I'm a Sat/Pluto dominant and I abhor the cold. I am extremely sensitive to it, as well. I wear a sweater almost 24/7 and easily get chilly. The cold sucks. I have bad memories of it, too. That's probably related. Hotness sucks too, though.
Even/warm temperatures are the best.

Yeah, it's tough with astrology, when it comes to personal preferences. Hard to know.
I think I've noticed hard Pluto aspects can sometimes point to someone who enjoys ice/cold as a concept, at least.
I can think of a Venus opp. Pluto person, Pluto/ASC person. And maybe Cappy? Pluto singleton, Mars opp. Pluto? Hm. IP: Logged |

I am fascinated with cold, ice, dark and death. Saturn and Pluto are dominant in my chart. Both are afflicted. Or maybe it is due to Moon in 8th. Or maybe it is just me. I enjoy cloudy days , I feel energized .IP: Logged |

Just for fun, some might like this, it has a theme of snowflakes and ice along with a dash of darkness and death (with a bit of psychological surrealism). Btw, her name "Weiss Schnee" is German for "Snow White."

I am saturn dominant. I used to like winter best but I realize how many more people actually die and suffer ... Now I get older and have things to do so the winter and the snow can be painful. I like 40-70 F weather IP: Logged |

Perhaps it is Saturn? I have sun trine Saturn and I love watching snow when it first falls to the ground, gently floating through the air like small, white feathers. I find it relaxing.

Hahaha, yes, I am special indeed, thank you. 
I have no Fire planets. My body is naturally quite cold (hands & feet especially, even now as I'm typing, ha), & I was raised in a cold environment - literally and sometimes figuratively. So I tend to have negative associations with the cold, Winter, snow, Christmas, etc. *sobs* So, there.
My Jupiter rules my North Node, DSC & 8H. So it's pretty important. Sits in Libra in the 6H, conjuncts Venus and trines Saturn *gasp* Still no love for the cold.

I meant cryotherapy but actually I wouldn't mind a chamber for hybernation It would be great to have one where you could sleep every night and slow down the ageing process that way. quote:

Ewww, not this one Winter is my second favorite season (after Autumn) and I like snow but when it turns into mud I tend to wish it hadn't snowed at all.------------------

Well, that;s just an idea that crossed my mind,and it's simple-minded- my mercury in taurus..so yea...you don;t have to like cold . BECAUSE..you are a fire void. You lack astro warmth...why would you neeed cold? Would not you be interested in warmth, not necessarily hot weather, as u said, it sucks!..but warm/even temperatures?? Do I make any sense? :-? ------------------

Absolutely; I actually pointed that out at first in my post, but then re-wrote it and didn't include the "Fire void = no likey cold" part, haha.(I don't think it's legit, though.) Taurus Mercury is opposite my Scorpio Mercury. We're usually polar opposites, indeed. Taurus simplifies, Scorpio complicates. IP: Logged |
