What aspects would make a woman fertile? Or barren? Not talking only abb signs..like e.g cancer women being very fertile and cappy women not so much..but also aspects and placements. My 5th is empty and I want twins. Only having gemini on 5th house I guess is not of a much help. Doesn't matter now I am single :)) these things are good to know. ------------------ “there are worse things than being alone but it often takes decades to realize this and most often when you do it's too late and there's nothing worse than too late”

I, too, have an empty 5th house and it worried me for a bit. I did some light reading on the subject and found out a few things.I looked into my best friend's chart, who has a 2 children, and she also has an empty 5th house. I read when the 5th house is empty, to look at/for its ruler. Mine happens to be in Leo, so then you look at Sun (seeing as that's the planet ruled by Leo) and look at that planet's aspects to other planets. Direct aspects allegedly tell you how many children you're going to have. Since your 5th house is in Gemini, look to Mercury. See how many aspects Mercury is making with your other planets. I'm not sure how to check for twins though. You can also look at your transits. IP: Logged |

I have Jupiter in cancer but the planet that rules cancer (moon) is debilitated which of coarse greatly hinders all the planets in the sign. I also have the ruler of my 5th in the 12th house which denotes loss of children. The ruler of the 5th is saturn which also delays children or the person may never have any if they are so inclined.I'm in my mid 30's now and I have never had a desire for children. I do not think I will ever have any- largely because I really don't want any kids of my own. (the idea of having a person growing inside of me kinda skeeves me out as the grossest thing ever). If I'm financially stable enough I might adopt when I'm in my 40's though. IP: Logged |

^^ no judging in here,I understand your point- I also know a scorp girl who is disgusted by pregnant women and little babyes- but she enjoys playing with 4 year olds I am scared if the birth would mess me up psychologycally speaking, as in the post-partum trauma etc. Lol, I am 22 but I don't know why this crossed my mind. I have asteroid HATE in my 5th house square sun, hope it's not an indicator of hating kids- but I always felt the kids and animals like me more than I would like them, I have an aspect ( but forgot which one is it- to be likeable for babies and pets) - I think I am balanced. I like nice kids- the ones that are behaved, smart and fun, but not robots controlled by their parents- I like to play with them :D ...oh..the gemini sun ;;) IP: Logged |

I have an empty 5th house with Sagittarius on the cusp. I have two girls: one is a Sag; the other Sag rising.Someone told me Venus in Virgo is a fertile placement. Starlit: There is no doubt that childbirth is a big thing and your fear is natural. I was terrified myself. The great thing about pregnancy is that you have many months to prepare and your mindset changes with every one. IP: Logged |

One thing that's really weird is, traditionally, Virgo is thought of as one of the most barren signs while Pisces is the most prolific, yet Michelle Duggar, one of the most fertile women in the US, has 19 kids and is a solar Virgo married to a Cancer sun. She is testimony Virgo can be extremely fertile.IP: Logged |

In old school astrology books they obsess on how fertile Pisces. It seems like one of the least fertile signs from what I have seen. My grandmother had sun in Pisces she had four kids which was less than what most people had back then. My Aunt is a Pisces sun without any kids. I know another Pisces sun without any kids. They either have no kids or very few with occasionally one who has several. Nowadays that's the norm since big families aren't that common. I still think it's interesting such a large family like the Duggars was made possible by a woman with a Virgo sun. Virgo is the sign of the harvest. This isn't really a fertile time, more a time to reap what was planted earlier. So who knows? I should look at her chart, see where the moon is. Wow just checked! MD's chart is loaded with Virgo. Possibly the moon is there, too. Cannot say for certain because I could not find her exact birth time. Moon is either in Virgo or late Leo. She has Sun, Moon (?) Mercury, Venus, Uranus and Pluto in Virgo with Mars in Leo. She does have Jupiter in Cancer! Wonder if it's in the fifth house? I would be interested in knowing where that exalted Jupiter is. It's good Jupiter is in the eighth house of legacies, even your own. Your children are your legacy!

I have Neptune in the 5th house. I have one 15 year old son. My husband and I have been trying for a baby for 5+ years now and no luck whatsoever - even with IVF treatment. It's heartbreaking. IP: Logged |
