I lost another friend to suicide last week. I lost my cousin/former bestfriend a few days after my birthday last October. My cousin's (who was like my sister) husband in 2004 offed himself. My bestfriend/soul brother killed himself in 2002. I'm not even including last century. So, I am averaging 1 suicide every 3 years since 2002. If anyone has any hypotheses about why someone would have this repeated theme in his/her life, I am all ears.

That has nothing to do with you and it's completely ridiculous to think so .

At most it's synastry that draws or makes you drawn to people that have suicidal tendencies.

Well you'll survive so long as you yourself don't try to kill yourself. When you realize suicide is only a temporary solution and simply opens up another can of karmic worms, you'll be completely against the idea. No amount of depression is worth it since its all a lesson to be learned. If you don't learn your lesson in this life, you'll learn it + extra homework in the next one.

I did not title this post very well. Those of us who have dealt with loved ones who killed themselves refer to ourselves as survivors of suicide. Sorry for the confusion.

I am so sorry you lost your brother like this. This is the kind of grief that never really leaves you and some days are really rough. Please be gentle with yourself.

Suicide has been a fairly constant theme in my life since childhood. I am not prone to magical thinking nor am I that much of a narcissist to think I had any sort of influence over friends & family who purposefully engineered their own deaths. Also, I feel no guilt. The "coulda, woulda, shoulda's" are a typical of first timers. My purpose nowadays is to zero in on the the living friends & family of the suicide who might be vulnerable to the suicidal/self destructive domino effect. I help others cope with the aftermath. All I was asking in my OP is what natal aspects would show this theme. What I received from you was a terse and mildly condescending post which is unappreciated. Regardless, I do appreciate you taking the time to post even if it was misguided.

I am really just saying this bc I have jupiter transinting my 8th and I read that you can lose multiple people during such transit, meaning it can manifest like that...

Do you by any chance have natal jupiter in the 8th with pluto transiting your 8th??

Wild guess here....

Post your natal with transits.

ADD:

I agree with everyone regardless is not your fault, you cant control people's decisions.

My first reaction was that - it is probably not connected to your natal chart. As others have said, you can't control other people's decisions and if anything - it would be their own charts and their transits that we would need to look at.

However - since this has affected you a lot ever since you were young and it's a pattern that keeps repeating itself... there may be life lessons or karmic lessons - here for you. I would look at the Nodes for this, and maybe Saturn.
Can you post your Nodes/aspects to the Nodes and your Saturn - sign/house etc...?

Also, I associate death and loss with the Taurus/Scorpio opposition.. and the 2nd/8th houses.
My Nodes are Taurus/Scorpio (conjunct my Venus/Pluto opposition, in the same signs). Do you have anything in these signs?

My nodes depend on whether I use the mean or true node. True node is Cancer in the 10th and Capricorn in the 4th. Mean is 11th SN Cancer and Cappy in in 5th. 11th Cancer Saturn conjuncts my SN no matter what.

Sorry. I was trying to say I just can't see this being a natal thing for you. People are their own vessels within ire own choices and energy and auras. You should be looking into the natals of your loved ones to see if there's a pattern. Then look at your own chart to see what patterns in their natal charts resonate with yours.

In my own life I have noticed a few patterns with people that have committed suicide or have been suicidal. Though its not enough to give a real answer. Born in fall and winter. Personal planets in the 6th house. Hard aspects to the moon. A lot of personal planets in Virgo, Scorpio, Aquarius, Pisces or Capricorn.

Thank you, BansheeQueen (love your name). I apologize if I was rude. Yes, I was very raw at the time, but that is no excuse for my harsh response. Unfortunately, I do not have TOB for my dead people. I have looked at my natal sans minor asteroids. I have a 2H Sun/ Uranus conjunction opposite 8H Chiron. Chiron wounds usually happen in childhood. My uncle did a gswh when I was 6 years old & it really has never stopped. I am tired of dealing with aftermath of this sh!te. I don't even cry anymore. What is the point of having sore, swollen eyes.

I don't know about your chart, haven't seen it, but I -do- definitely think it's possible to see something like this in the natal. if its a pattern.

I have 2 death patterns ,which sounds so weird and morbid, not connected to suicide. One is personified by Moon square Pluto, where Moon is the NN ruler, and it's conj Venus which rules my 4th. So there's thaaat. I've dealt with that one since literally my first breath, that's how strong that pattern is. And yes this one is tied to my family.
The other one is personified by Uranus which rules my 8th which is square Sun, asc ruler, in the 8th. I would say I started to become aware of this one when transit Uranus was conjunct my Sun in the 8th, back in...2004. So I've been dealing with this one off and on since then. This one is tied not to my family, but to my mortality.

So I have no problem seeing the suicide of others as a pattern in a natal chart. But to find it could be tricky..but the common culprits obviously 8th Scorp Pluto,.

Id say hang in there but it doesn't sound appropriate? Cos gawd that pattern must suck. Mine can suck too at times, but only when they're the only things I'm paying attention to :/
