For example, I play 1 online game (League Of Legends), where it really depends on a team, and how everyone works together. I've met this player there, who always wants to help/protect me. I don't need it, haha. Obviously, there is no attraction, we have a 17 y.o. difference, he knows about it, he knows my fiancée through playing, but he's almost like my older brother even though he's 13

I blame his Cancer Mars for embracing the "South will rise again" nonsense and love for Dixie flags (not that it offends me, it just exasperates me). In case you're wondering why it's because Cancer tends to be patriotic (and defensive) of a culture he feels apart of.

He'd pick on me but was incredibly protective at the same time. Generally speaking, any slight against a family member was a slight against him and this was doubly so when it came to me. This was more true when we were kids but still remains the case somewhat as adults. I have some real happy memories of him standing up for me and mine as an adult.

But I'm family. I wouldn't expect a Cancer Mars to be protective of someone in a video game, but maybe playing that same game (especially if you're on the same team) then maybe that Cancer aspect of "patriotism" is kicking in. I know many gamers take their games very seriously so that seems plausible to me.

I think Captain Mal Reynolds in Firefly has an equivalent to a Cancer Mars like my cousin:

Hmm as far as protecting people, I have this neighbor who I keep going to bat for time and again, and his Moon is conjunct my Sun, and his Venus is the same sign as my Mars..also his Sun is conj my Jupiter, which I think helps, that ones sorta wide tho.We keep getting embroiled in things together so I don't really feel like I have a choice in the matter, but he's someone who I definitely look out for. I have a lot of sympathy for what he goes through. When I say embroiled, for example one afternoon someone came over and bashed in all his windows, I saw this from my place. Because this involved glass being strewn in my yard I felt like I had been attacked too, because I like to walk barefoot in my yard. Anyway I ended up being a witness to the police for it, and helped him picked up the glass. Other people saw it but no one else wanted to be a witness. He attracts sooo much drama, and whatever affects him at his house tends to affect me. Its never been like this with a neighbor. We're the MOST unlikely pair, but there ya go, sun conj moon. I'm always looking out for him.

And as far as the people who I feel protected by, and really enjoy it, their Mars trine my Moon. And to a lesser degree but still valid, *especially* if theyre a Taurus, their Sun trine my Moon.

I'm the same way lmao. Even when I'm playing Call of Duty, if someone on my team is being ambushed or attacked, I feel like it's my duty to step up and protect them. They're a complete total stranger but they're on my team, so I will protect them.

If my heart goes out to you or I feel responsible for you, I will protect you regardless of who you are, how I know you, or the circumstance.

As long as they feel loved & respected they generally will want to take very good care of you. They aren't loyal to everyone, but those that they are loyal to they will die for & fight for. No BS!
