I've made posts like this before, but I really want people to know that your rising is not the only sign that governs your appearance. From my observation, your rising sign has a lot to do with your demeanor. For example a rising Libra will have a charming 'air' about him, though he has a reserved Capricorn sun.------------------

I'll use Rihanna for example.
I was trying to figure out why her eyes always look so low and seductive and why her legs are so shapely, long, and perfect. Well, her eyes are due to her Aquarius mercury and her legs are due to her Sagittarius Mars. Sag has great legs dude------------------

Think about it, if appearance was left up to the rising sign, we'd all look the same. But all of our personal planets make up our appearance!------------------

When you say first house are you referring to the ascendant?I have Jupiter in Libra in the 1st house, how does this work? ------------------

Appearance is ASC+SOL+LUNA. You also have to look at 6H for some other clues. Also, dominant Signs and Planets have great effect too.------------------

For example, my son is a Scorpio with Scorpio rising, and a lot of people don't pick up on that with him bc he has a first house stellium. So he moves about very quickly and he talks fast and gestures quickly.. he seems very Aries even though he has no planets in Aries. Just the stellium in H1.IP: Logged |

I have a Virgo ascendant and I don't think I look like a Virgo at all. I look very much like my Cancer sun- light hair, huge blue eyes, pale skin, curvy pear-shape, not too tall, thin hair.What I do take away from my ascendant sign is my tendency to be very reserved, serious, and tight when I'm meeting people for the first time. I'm with you! I always notice a correlation between eyes and Moon/Mercury - and also, between overall physical appearance and the Mars placement. My body looks strangely similar to that of women who have Mars in the early degrees of Capricorn. I know of quite a few, acquaintances and famous. I don't think it's mere coincidence  IP: Logged |

They are personal planets in that they vary widely from person to person because they move from sign to sign so quickly. They do influence personality, but they are personal in that they differ from the outer planets, which tend to be more "generational" and mark groups/generations. IP: Logged |

Kim Kardashian is another Sagittarian thickums: Sagittarius rising and MarsShe's also a Libra sun. Libras have nice bums ------------------

Cancerians also have nice bums.The chest is also quite easily developed in men(when they gym) Cancer Moons I know have nice bums. Even the men have shapely bum. I think you should also look at the ruling planet of your Asc sign. I've noticed that, even though someone may have Gemini Asc, if Mercury is in Scorpio there is a strong "Scorpio" influence in their looks(barring that no other planets are on the Asc/1st house). I wish my Sagittarius strong chart would have given me height. I have a collection of planets in Sag and the 9th house but, sadly, I'm barely 5''7. That makes so much sense! Im an aqua rising but my uranus is in capricorn AND saturn is also in my first house! After reading capricorn rising physical traits i actually have alot of them in my appearance IP: Logged |

These two people have very similar looks.
Carangi has chart ruler in Capricorn and Taylor is a Capricorn ( I don't know Taylor's ascendant )
Their Suns are in different signs but both of them are conjunct Mercury, square Neptune, and opposite Uranus.
One has Saturn in domicile and the other exalted.
