I'm just gonna write this here cos Orange mentioned this topic on Doux's thread, then I realized with my run-ons I was going to sour her happy thread in my reply, so thought id start this one ..

So this is what was going on last time I had the square, it was from gem in the 11th, that's when I started college full time and felt really isolated because none of my friends in high school were there, we all went in different directions, major changes and lost contact, and the environment was unlike anything I had been exposed to previous. Number one was that i felt shortchanged by my previous teachers and curriculum that had been set up for me and my peers, I had to change the way I befriended people, and even then, when I got around to it I had mainly older friends which was really strange. Not bad, but weird and distancing, for me. Also the basic financials of paying for college were very stressful and Sun rules my 2nd so that went alongside it :/ but then again isn't it stressful for most, so that in itself not a huge biggie, but maybe just sensitized to the whole thing which was reflective of Saturn?

But yeah Saturn hard aspect my Sun, always starts out with this rotten isolated feeling. Like I'm wearing old eggs and everyone can smell it and wants to stay away , or at least it feels like that. Cue self pity lmao.
It's good in a sense though, from gem 11th I changed the way I interacted with people, the whole basis for my interactions, it's still the same now as I learned it then. Pretty far reaching in a way.

This next part's pretty worthless because I was so young but idk I'm putting it in anyway :/ saturn s only squared my sun twice.
The first time it was square i was only 4, from Sagittarius in the 5th. The most I remember is feeling strange because it was the first time I was being cared for by someone outside of my home. It was a woman who ran a daycare out of her home, and I knew we were supposed to relax and have fun but I couldn't since I didn't know anyone there. I just couldn't relax. And to make it more uncomfortable, the son of my caregiver, who was also my age, wanted to 'marry me.' He would tell my parents when they came to pick me up that he was going to take me away with him. Often. I was freaked because i believed that he could take me away from my family, because he was adamant that I was going to be 'his wife.' Also I remember having a very hard time trying to get the attention of the adults there when I needed help, and being weirded out because they were so tall and that it always seemed we had to do something crazy and off the wall to get them to notice us. That was the first time i had to work to get attention. That was really tiresome. But when any of us did get a big persons attention it was "victory!" Too much work for too little payback that's all I have to say, but if you were recognized by the big person then that meant you were worth something and what you said or did mattered, so it was a big deal.
Yeah well, I only have 2 saturn square sun experiences so that's why I added that. :P

...

So just making this space for anyone who wants to rant or share about this transit, and saving it for me for next year, and also for Orange for next yr if she's still around since I guess we're both early mutable Suns and it's possible that we might need all the help we can get I guess that also means that Neptune's already been effing with us and we're a little worse for wear

Pfft... In winter, I'll be having Sun-Saturn DW. pSun Sq nSaturn AND tSaturn Sq nSun.

The period following ^ coincides with the applying penultimate Uranus Sq Pluto, which rocks my Asc/Dsc axis.

...
... Obvs I am just bragging

HELLO Hope you're well and fab.

I remember the last time Tr Saturn was squaring my Sun - the acute phase lasting exactly from one degree before and one degree after the exact point. I must point out, that Tr Saturn was also exactly conjunct my Mars/Saturn-mp (and squaring Jupier/Pluto).

It was a rotten miserable time for me. I usually have strong health, but this was one time when I started having real problems involving the digestive system. Runing from doctor to doctor, and none really being able to diagnose me.
I diagnosed myself and actually the only way to get rid of it (the problems would appear in two or 3 subsequent years, ONLY from september to february of that year, no clue why) was to change my life.

I moved away fromw here I was living back to my hometown actually, and slowly gradually changed my whole way of dealing with things and my outlook.

And most importantly I think I finally raised my head out of the sand where it had been resting for many years.

That helped.lol

BTW I remember that when I was little, the son of friends of my parents also threatened to marry me. Well, we were not even at school age. lol
However he threatened to lock me up in his room, until I agreed to marry him. Which he did, locking me up, resulting in me screaming like I was being stabbed or something.

He got married to someone else last year and as a matter of fact they had their first child yesterday.
So I guess I am out of the danger zone.

LOL Tr Saturn was possibly squaring my Sun back then with sa Saturn on my Vertex and Sun/moon-mp

Gosh, it feels so good to see you girls here, all in the same thread - Lonake, VenusDi and Ceri... Reminds me of the old times.

Ahhh Mercury in Cancer Rx... I love you guys. So glad to see you back, L. And Venus posting more, that's super sweet, too.

Lonake, thanks for sharing.
When tSaturn squares your and Orange's Sun again sometime next year, it'll be squaring my Moon. I think we'll be in need of a support group. (aaand Venus will join us, of course!) ETA. DUH this IS the support group, silly me! Carry on!

VenusDi, ASC/DSC huh? Your relationship status is prolly gonna change... Uh-oh!

Ceri, I hope your health is better now. I've been dealing with health issues, myself and Saturn is in my 6H now, conjuncting my Sun.

Thanks, Lonake twinkie, for making this thread.
I am dreading the upcoming Saturn in Sag like the plague.
You guys make it sound so much better, the support group thing is actually working..
Feeling miserable, thats doable, i'll take that, sign me in, as long as Saturn stays away from my health, and dont mess my relationshipS, ok? So thats my wish list, Sat.
Luckily, at the same time Saturn hits my Sun, Jupiter enters Virgo and conjuncts my battered Sun and ASC/DSC . I cannot begin to tell how in awe with Jupiter i am, he is truely the knight in shining armor for me in my life. In my natal chart, he is in a very strategic position in my 8th house shining his benevolent rays over my asc/dsc, Nodes and Sun with 0' trines and sextilles. Juppy also parallels all that group. And here he comes again just in time to fight off Saturn. I love ya, Jupiter! Mwah. Kiss kiss. Smooches Jup.

Lonake, you are a miserable, whining twit.
You should have stayed away from this board. It was a lot better when you weren't around, "moderating".

Keep your negativity to yourself, please.

If you have a problem with Lonake, take it elsewhere.
Thanks.

Insults are not allowed. If you don't like someone, avoid them. No one forced you to post on her thread.

No one asked her to post unconstructive stuff on my thread either.

She did it anyway.

If that happens, tell me about it. If you hurl insults, you will just get banned. Unconstructive is open to interpretation. Insults are not.

She shouldn't have been.

It's my opinion - if I want to express it, I can, as long as I don't swear.
