I hate commercials. I hate twitter. I hate facebook. I hate gossip. I hate talking about sh1t that is not interesting and just ******* annoying!! And I hate even more when people just randomly txt me asking: "hey, how was your day? I went fishing then I read a book". Have I missed the memo about how humans interact? I NEED everything I talk about to have a meaning, a lasting imprint. Aspects? IP: Logged |

Im like this too, its become worse since pluto entered my 3rd, superficial interactions make me want to sleep. I also have neptune, uranus in 3rd, I need to go on "journeys" in my conversations, surface matters bore me. IP: Logged |

Maybe that's what it is? Uranus in 3H and Jupiter in 9H?
I don't want to come across as a pretentious snobb but most people I meet couldn't even pay me to sit through a conversation with them.

Uranus definately, I am bored with "normal" conversations, and having to keep everything normal incase you accidently "hurt" someones/some peoples feelings. Nope, your not a snob, actually its just called having standards  most likely because most people are actually boring.

Aries placements, I have a bunch..never contemplated having a facebook let alone letting everyone know how great and wonderful my day or life has been. Who really cares anyway and no I don't care how cute or wonderful you think your kids are, I'm still waiting to see that bumper sticker that says "my kid is a teacher terrorizer who made the most detention list", my day would be made if I saw that lol.IP: Logged |

If you hate superficial things perhaps you are just a little unconscious of the fact that we are all superficial to some degree and we all have varying degrees of tolerance.
And for the record facebook in itself is not superficial. Superficiality is a humanistic quality. It is not quality of objects in themselves.IP: Logged |

I agree about facebook....and that stuff. It doesn't have to be stuff that you dislike. TV though... Well I have one now but I didn't even have a TV for a year and didn't have cable for about 6 years! IP: Logged |

This is basically how I am.Mercury and Moon leading in my chart; Mercury in Aries/11th has aspects to Uranus (qux.), Neptune (trine), and Pluto (opp.). Moon in Virgo conj. IC, squ. Uranus, opp. Pallas-Lilith, trine Sun and Jupiter. IP: Logged |

Same way, just too antsy to sit through boring conversations and gossip. Uranus/Sun, Uranus/Moon and Uranus/Mercury, but I also have Uranus and Pluto in 3rd so it's probably that too. Never liked social media, or flaky situations... to be honest I care less about reality shows and mundane stuff, just not interested.IP: Logged |

No fb, no twitter, no instagram and only talk on the phone when I have to. Couldn't care less about the Kardashians and what not.However I don't mind people just saying hi and telling me what they did with their day. I actually like that. Assuming there is no alterior motive that is. IP: Logged |

Well i hate superficiality to, but somtimes it's needed to get into the deeper stuff. "Hey how was your day" is just to break the ice, like what are they supposed to say out of nowhere "WHAT ARE YOUR DEEPEST DESIRES???" If you ask me that would be pretty weird.. But what is really annoying is when people just talk about uninteresting things like the weather just to not have silent moments in conversations because they find it awkward, that is what i think of as superficial. One should be comfortable just being silent sometimes to..

Definitely true, i need to talk about things spiritual/personal/new ideas/out of the norm stuff, the Internet is great for me, allows me to talk about this stuff easier. Well put, small talk and conversation that may be a little superficial is fine in my book...I'm just glad some of the figurines have started falling off the back window of the SUV's out there, keep waiting for the one showing the young daughter with a much older boyfriend, dad pounding a beer, son smoking a J with his skateboard and Mom, well she holds it all together and has a sparkling image just as everyone shows , now that's a little more real don't ya think.
