Does Saturn in the 9th house mean delayed travel of some sort? I have this placement and I've always loved traveling and exploring different places, but as I get older, it gets harder and harder to go out of town. When I was younger, I traveled a lot! I moved from my home state when I was 3 and we would travel back home at least twice a month. We also went to the beach every year for our family reunion. I also relocated to Atlanta for a few months because my dad had a job offer, but he ended up turning it down so we moved back. Now that I am older, all I want to do is travel, but something always gets in the way whether it's financial problems, the person I'm going with encounters financial problems or just plain bad timing. Will I ever get to travel freely like before? I know with age comes more responsibility and I can't just get up and go like I used to, but I always plan accordingly and save so I can go at the selected date, but my plans always end up getting canceled. My moon trines Saturn and my Venus trines Saturn. Saturn squares my Pluto as well.

I have this placement as well, except only in Placidus house system. In every other house system my Saturn is in the 8th, and I mostly relate to the 8th placement more. But I seem to have a very similar dilemma to you! My family and I used to travel a lot when I was little and do lots of camping and stuff, never far away though and never really out of state, but it was always fun. But definitely as I've grown up we do less and less of that, and we usually only 'do' something once a year, in the summer time. Like you said, maybe it has something to do with growing up/responsibility and getting to do funner things when you're little, but maybe it does have something to do with Saturn there, like Saturn puts a stall/stalemate on travel. And I have always been very fond of it like you, and ever since I was little I have dreamed of being able to travel the world. Hmmmm...

Saturn is definitely not the funnest planet.

That is one dream of mine as well. I started out using the Placidus house system, but as I studied my chart more, I realized that the equal house system definitely suits me better especially with Saturn in my 9th house.

I just hope these blockages and restrictions will be rewarded later and I get to travel nonstop all over the world. That would be amazing.

Saturn is always the wet blanket.

Yeah, sometimes if you just fool around with the different systems you can end up feeling more partial to a specific one, I think it's pretty cool in a way.

It would definitely be amazing! I really hope you get to someday, traveling is an awesome dream and inspiration.

Haha, agreed
