What transits in aspect to personal planets would signify traveling? It doesn't have to be to another country, but just simply to another state or across the US.

From a big vacation (out of state):
-t.jupiter sq n.mercury
-t.mercury conj n.uranus
-t.saturn sq n.jupiter
-t.mars opp n.jupiter
-t.venus sextile n.jupiter
Didn't have any transits in the 3rd or 9th.

From a big vacation (out of country):
-t.uranus conj n.sun
-t.jupiter sq n.jupiter
-t.mercury opp n.jupiter
-t.venus opp n.jupiter
-t.neptune sq n.jupiter
-t.uranus sq n.uranus
-t.mars trine n.mars
-t.pluto sextile n.mars
Again no transits in the 3rd or 9th.

Fwiw, Neptune rules the 9th/Mercury the 3rd.
Untenanted 9th, mars/saturn are in the 3rd.

That's from your personal experience, right?

I just compared my natal chart with transits to your aspects you listed and I didn't have not one.

I traveled to New York last August and it was during a new moon.

Here's my natal chart with transits for a trip I took last summer. The trip lasted for 2 weeks, but I just showed transits for the day it began, June 2, 2013.

Leading up to the trip, transiting Jupiter, Venus, and Mercury had been in a very tight conjunction with each other and were on my natal Sun-Venus. That was while I was doing most of the trip planning, doing all the mental work, etc. As t Mercury pulled away from t Jupiter-Venus, the planning stage ended and the actual trip began.

So, on trip departure day, Jupiter-Venus is transiting my natal Sun-Venus in my 12th house. Pisces rules my 9th house, so t Jupiter, Venus, and Mercury traveling through my 12th probably signaled travel for me. Transiting Mercury is also opposing my natal Jupiter 1°. Transiting Mars is opposite 9th house ruler 2°. Transiting 9th house ruler Neptune is square natal Neptune, sextile natal Jupiter.

Also, true to form, on the day during the trip when I did the most shopping and spent the most money, transiting Jupiter was on natal Venus 0°. Astrology is so exact.

I checked my progressed chart, also, and it showed transiting Jupiter conjunct progressed Venus 0°. Also, I noticed that progressed 5th house ruler was Sag, and Jupiter was in progressed 5th, and had recently moved into Sag in the chart. So progressed 5th house ruler Jupiter sitting in progressed 5th house in Sag. I think those were very strong indications I'd be having lots of fun while on a trip. Which I did.

Hi Yanmorg, maybe post a chart if poss for the trip to New York, see if anything can be referenced to your current?
I noticed both of mine had hard Mercury/jupiter contacts at the outset.

I wonder if those aspects could reflect being anxious at the outset, 'did I leave anything behind' 'when does the flight leave/when should I get there' 'do I have enough time to empty my nervous bladder before boarding starts' etc. All those millions of questions and concerns at the outset, I wonder if Merc/Jup could be reflecting that? Because everything's about the schedule, you goof up and you might be **** out of luck.
