Topic: Why do I attract SO many humans with serious issues?

This might be for another board so please move, mods! I have never met anyone that attract so much drama as I do. Friends go nuts......strangers on street come up to me despite there being hundreds of others to choose from....parents lay their sh1t on me...parents friends fall in love with me.......It's like the floodgates from Drama-Lama Land are open just for me and the exchange of weirdness is a neverending story. Those that are closest to me even ask me what the heck is going on sometimes! I can HIDE, in a corner of a Starbucks or any other cafe and The Weirdo WILL FIND ME. Are there any particular aspects that might cause this or am I just sending out signals to the Universe that I like and want it? Maybe it's my Uranus in 3H that is making ME super weird, but I can't see it, and sends out vibes to others to come join the party? I do love Psychology and I do have that mindset not to judge anyone so maybe that is what shines through? I am like Mother Theresa for the obscure society.. It feels like this is my Karmic Debt and it just never ends. I mean, how bad could I have been in my previous life?? IP: Logged |

Omg me too. I was just thinking about the same thing lying awake in bed. I really attract people that have been through bad things or are in trouble. My life's been wild too. So for me it's natural I think. I wanna be saved but I end up saving others and I'm in the same exact place or worse.I feel like this is my cosmic purpose. To be the servant and to help people that come into my life. A lot of times when people have been "fixed" is when we parted ways. First off what are your placements. I feel like my Virgo rising has to do with this. Also I have sixth house synastry in relationship where one of us came in to save the other. Are you the nurturing type? I'm a. Cancer moon so I always feel like I need something in my life to take care of even if it's just a pet. IP: Logged |

I have a Virgo Asc too with a Cancer stellium in 11H. I guess I like to take care of humans...I don't however like to take care of people closest to me because it becomes too personal. I like to care for the entire world, if that makes sense? I feel I am capable of "fixing" people's problems but after that I need to be let go of so that I can move on. Some people hold on though and that's when mayhem ensues :-/ Don't you get tired of always being the one "saving"? IP: Logged |

A Cancer stellenium in the 11th house would likely give you a nurturing vibe that would attract others. You may outwardly come across as a very caring and "mothering" type of friend (even if internally you are annoyed by people's dramas). I can see how Uranus in the 3rd house could potentially make you attractive to eccentric personalities. The way you communicate may give people with eccentric personalities the sense that you understand them better than most.My first thought while reading your post wasn't that your predicament is due to bad karma, as you suggested. Rather, maybe your karmic lesson is finding the balance between helping others and establishing personal boundaries to prevent people from draining your emotional energy so much. You have the right to establish clear boundaries in your relationships and not allow others take advantage of your sympathetic nature. It's also important to determine the difference between people who will make good use of your advice and emotional support, and clingy 'energy vampires' who simply want to dump all their problems on your shoulders. I would say Pisces placements? Planets aspecting Pluto while also in the 8th or 12th house? Planets aspecting neptune? All of these could be factors. Personal planets aspecting neptune and/or Pluto in the 11th or 12th house? Maybe even the 7th house.. This is just based off my experience. IP: Logged |

The above is the most important skill you need to have, OP. When people come up to you and lay their BS on the table for your consumption, walk away. You probably lack boundary setting skills. You don't have to accept what people send your way. Doing it is a choice. Start out by defining what's acceptable to you. Then learn to identify it as instances happen. Then learn to say no to these situations (a skill in itself). It will take time, but you can get there  IP: Logged |

You are very correct when I saying I need to find balance!! It's just very hard for me when I am 100% certain I don't seek it out but instead it comes to me. I don't go out there and falunt myself to gain attention! Perhaps once I get my Psych degree and start working in that field I will be able to put up more visible boundaries. Also, how would YOU differentiate between a "clingy vampire" and someone that will actually take advice to heart? IP: Logged |

That makes sense. I think the whole Virgo thing is you feel a duty towards other people. And your cancer side wants to nurture. Also we have Pisces descendant so that kinda draws us into the kinds of relationships where someone needs a savior. I like helping people but it just gets exhausting when no one takes care of me. Oh yeah. I want to be the one that gets saved but I always always end up being the one bleeding out to help someone else. IP: Logged |
