Topic: Do I have Venus Square Pluto?

Okay, so on astrotheme.com the Venus Square Pluto aspect doesn't come up. However on astro.com, it does come up. But it looks like the square is extremely weak... Do I actually have the aspect or not? I am a little obsessive in relationships, but I think that has more to do with my Venus in the 8th, anyways, my chart is below.

I see it.Venus in Virgo squaring Pluto in Sagittarius is a strongly intellectual aspect. Pluto in Sagittarius lends its energy to Venus in Virgo. Do you find yourself yearning for expansion and growth in relationships? Do you find yourself drawn to lovers/ experiences outside racial/cultural boundaries? Do you prefer yourself to have open-minded, opinionated and expressive lovers? Do you find that relationships challenge your moral/value viewpoint? Do you find yourself drawn to someone who "expands" or grows you into knowing more, asking more and wanting more? Do you seek pleasure, adventure and personal growth in relationships? If so, Venus square Pluto is very active in your chart and you shouldn't rely too heavily on astro sites to inform you of this. IP: Logged |

No, that's pretty wide.Maybe you have to set your Orbs. I only give that much to the Luminaries. Perhaps a Powerful Stellium. IP: Logged |

Aries23, your description sounds like a Venus/Jupiter aspect... I have that one and I can relate to your post.
-OP, I wouldn't count it. Buuut it all comes down to if you can relate to the descriptions or not. You don't seem to have it, IMO, your vibe is more gentle. Usually Venus/Pluto hard aspects give off a pretty strong, magnetic or repulsive vibe (not saying you are not magnetic, but you don't come across that way on here, to me at least). I would say more of an opposition, 9' degrees away especially involving a non personal (outer planet) tends to tighten the square (or other) orbs. It is a rather strong opposition though I would say.IP: Logged |

Hmm, well although I'm water void. I still have water influences, particularly Pisces influences. Sometimes I feel more like a Pisces than Libran because my Neptune is strong in my chart. It aspects a lot of things in my chart (including my Moon, and it's a hard aspect - so yes I do feel lol). But yeah.. ------------------

My goodness!!! Yes lol, you are right.  I think I was thinking of a Venus/Jupiter square when I wrote it. I was answering to two differing posts. Oops! What I meant to write was; The Pluto square Venus individual will consciously look for relationships that will "change" their value system somewhat; either for the better or worse. They will consciously look for relationships that will break rules, forge new ground or have an "awakening" impact on them. The desire here is to love deeply, fully and completely. The relationship may have obsessive/dangerous qualities to it too-but these are often interpreted , by the individual, as "invigorating".
