Wondering out there who has input as to why someone with good looks and quite successful is attracted to do nothing, sit on the couch unmotivated men time and time again. I have my ideas but would like to hear what y'all have to say on the matter from an astrology standpoint. IP: Logged |

Venus 12th or afflicted Venus perhaps. I have both (square Neptune) I have not noticed this pattern in me but have read about it time and time again. Wanting a "project"... Someone who you can build. IP: Logged |

I have Venus in the 12th and this is not me at all. My guys are usually the go getters. I'm still learning and I'm not quite sure how to determine if planets are afflicted.

Yeah, it might be a misinterpretation. It talks about cheating etc... I've never. But that's what sources say. IP: Logged |

Is it also possibility fear of giving up any bit of the upper hand, i.e. date down so I can remain on top and don't have anybody challenge you? I mean no disrespect if you do read this. IP: Logged |

Do you have somebody bring home the bacon to you so you can live a free and easy lifestyle and oh yeah have the house a sty and dinner not ready when she does get home? No problem with loving to do nothing, I'm getting at more of the no shame, have somebody provide for me and put in far too much in the relationship in comparison, and oh yeah then try to defend yourself when you're called a boy. I just follow what my gut/heart says. I always attracted certain types, but it was no conscience effort on my part. Finally I worked on myself for a couple years and got someone perfect. (for me) IP: Logged |

I am very attractive and successful for someone in my age group and I attract mostly bums with no future. It could be several things really. After examining my own chart, I have come to the conclusion that it's my Moon-Neptune Square. Bad aspects between the moon anc neptune creates illusions. I recentlu noticed that I only see what I imagine instead of what is really there when it comes to my relationships. For example, I attract bummy guys with no future, but during the duration of our relationship, I'll see the guy putting in effort to improve their life situation, but in reality, they're just being stagnant. I also have aspects to Chiron which could be a part of thr problem..
My mars is also very afflicted and it's the most active planet in my natal chart. It also sits on my 7th house cusp! I noticed that my mars tends to put ne into situations and relationships based on impulse which is never a good idea. You should always have a courting phase before committing to someone and I always jump the gun and get involved too early.

In the Western world..it's rare to find an extremely successful "Western White Male" who does not have other disgusting personality traits.. eg. chauvinism, misogyny, self-centredness, being a control freak, lack of spirituality and emotional depth, shallowness - and the list goes on.The extreme opposite - someone who literally does nothing and sits on his couch playing video games -- isn't a good alternative either... and this type is probably just as self-centred and shallow as the one above. I would think any woman who is highly successful and career oriented, would most of all need a man who can play the "stay at home mum".. and be a supportive partner.. basically play the role traditionally played by wives. Then, on her PM election speech - she can say - "Behind every great woman, is a great man" IP: Logged |

Oh yes, the term you referring to is "Glorified loser"; no ambition, no "wanting" to make themselves better, opportunistic etc. Well, I am not one of those, but i reckon if you post the chart of Kevin Federline you might get an idea of the type of people who are like him . I've always felt that Britney was hypnotized by that Pluto in 1st(Libra)and fell in-love with his looks and charm more than anything else. Women, like men, tend to fall victim to this too. And Kevin is charming. But why is it,when women behave like this, it is acceptable and normal. But the minute that the tables are turned, the guy is labeled a "free loader", "scrub" etc. Women use their charm and looks too. Kevin, btw, seems to have quite an active Pluto in "Libra" chart; He has Moon conjunct Saturn in Leo so maybe he expects to be treated like royalty? But its his Pluto in Libra that squares most of his placements and the the angles. So this guy is the type to hypnotize others with looks and charm. If he had any sense, he would have used all that to build a career as a model or actor. This would have come in very handy for him. Libra energy tends to do this actually. The people flash their smile and charm and the world swoons. Lucky them IP: Logged |

Ain't that the truth :/ I have a libra in my family who is seriously the most charming guy ever. I don't even understand. I'm a girl. When we go somewhere he'll get other girls to give ME special treatment that is how charming this guy is. Just ridiculous. He gets out of tickets. He can talk strangers that are acting angry into having a good day. I'm sure if he rode the bus old ladies would give up their seats for him. Ridiculous IP: Logged |

Yeah. In my experience the more successful and good looking a guy is the more of a pig he is. But they have shallow girls throwing themselves at them all the time anyway so they're happy. The girls are happy. If the girls got a nice body the guy is happy. Their world continues to turn. The other extreme is like that too, except with more anger towards women and at themselves. Yikes.
