I do (causes of death, forensics, serial killers, and the whole bit) and I'm not Pluto Scorpio.
But not psychological disorders much, mostly things death related.

There's a lot of other things that can also cause it.
8th house and 12th house both can I think. Among others

I am afraid that I will develop a disorder..

I am a Scorpio with a Scorpio stellium in my 6th house.

Pluto is in my 6th house.

I research psychological disorders and other mental diseases, but I don't have much interest in serial killers.

I AM very interested in death and all things that are considered taboo or dangerous in today's society.

Same here. Do you have saturn there? I do too...you sound exactly like me with these tendencies...I am actually quite conventional but seem to gravitate towards researching taboo subject matters.

Please explain more if you may or can! Thank you.

Not killers/criminals so much (although I had a period where I was quite into that as well) but everything related to the mind and the psyche. Psychic, miraculous or 'supernatural' phenomena.
Death and the after-life as well, although to a lesser extent.

I have a tendency to obsess over psychological disorders to the point where I actually subconsciously start mimicking them.
(I'm consciously trying to get rid of that tendency now.) I think that goes for actual physical symptoms as well (the power of the mind, people!).

Scorpio stellium in the 6H, tada.

Yep. I've researched psychological disorders since I was around 9 or 10. Serial killers though, no.

Serial killers, I don't think so, but almost everyone I know of my generation is really intersted in psychology and a lot of people are taking psychology at college.

This.

I actually formally trained in forensic psychology and criminal profiling. Instead, I chose to be a self-employed therapist and creative professional.

Efftonne of SCO. (MOON, MERC, URA, EROS, LILITH, etc. 3H). PLUTO in LIBRA, conjunct SUN and BML.

VENUS is 12H, too, so, there's that.

Just be clear in what direction. There's a common misconception at the academic level: if you want to work in forensics at the crime scene level, go for criminalistics. If you're more into forensic pathology (autopsy, surveying the body, testing for COD) go medical examiner -- which is essentially MD with a forensic / pathology concentration.

One is arguably a lot less schooling, however.

And has your psychological paranoia increased or decreased since you began researching disorders?

What a synchronicity. I was just watching a show on television about a pyromaniac and his psychological profile and how they used hypnosis to excavate a difficult memory from a witness to identify him.

I was thinking of becoming a criminal profiler one day...it sounds intense and maybe kind of dark.

Before this whole rapper-stripper craze happened I was really into the personal lives and back stories of sex workers.

Yes. I'm very interested in psychology because I want to understand humans better. Death has always been a huge interest of mine. Just the concept of it. It's just too much it blows my mind.

Scorpio Pluto is my 8th lord. It's in my 7th. It is in opposition with 4th lord Moon and squares 9th lord Jupiter.
10th lord Saturn is right on the cusp of 8th.
11th/12th lord Uranus is in the eighth house, too.

I like analyzing the psychological makeup of extreme personalities. I generally try to obtain birth data of people I meet, analyze their charts, what kind of people they would be receptive or attracted to, etc.

I loveeeee mysteries, conspiracy theories and death stories. Doesn't help that it's conjunct my jupiter, merc and venus. I kinda wish I studied forensic sciences rather than finance
