I just watched this TED talk called The power of vulnerability; it might as well be called the power of Chiron! I enjoyed it a lot and want to share with you all.

Truly amazing lecture, it made me laugh and cry and very insightful conducted by an excellent researcher:

How has chiron impacted your life? What aspects or transits have triggered this impact or transformation?

I'm not a fan of Chiron.

It is in my 6th house. I've had an eating disorder since I was 16 (I'm 29 now). Apparently, it's common for those with Chiron in the 6th to have eating disorders, or have skewed body images. It is opposite my 12th house Sun.

In the last 2 years, Chiron has squared my natal Chiron, my natal Sun, and now it's squaring my natal Uranus and Ascendant. From the 3rd house (using placidus). In addition, Neptune is also squaring my natal Chiron, so yeah...

When Chiron was squaring my Chiron, I felt quite unwell, but it was difficult for me to get a diagnosis on what exactly was wrong. I also cut out a lot of people from my life who really didn't need to be there.

When Chiron was squaring my Sun, it was about relationships. I was super sensitive to rejection (which, as it turns out, was imagined!). Relationships did not go well at all during this time. Also, my dad wasn't feeling well, which was the worst part of the entire thing.

Chiron squaring my Uranus had a lot to do with my siblings and relatives, which makes sense because Uranus rules my 3rd house. At that time, I had a lot of problems with them. My relationships with them cooled off and we didn't really talk. I mostly felt annoyed because I felt that my sister and my cousin were taking advantage of my parents. I stopped communicating with them entirely for a while. I think the next hit will coincide with my other cousin moving to my city, so we'll see how that goes. We also had a bit of a falling out earlier this year, too!!

Chiron squaring my Ascendant has sucked so far. I've been having relationship issues. Robert Hand said that it causes difficulty in relationships because it indicates a time when my needs are at odds with my partner's needs, and boy is he right!

It has also brought up some family issues. One of my uncles came onto me a long time ago when I was 21, and I told my family, but they didn't really do anything about it, which I thought was kind of f*cked up. During the first hit of the transit last April, we all went back to India, and that uncle was around, and my whole family was so nice to him; hugging him, laughing with him, while I ignored him and told him to F off every time he tried to talk to me. I asked my sister why the heck they were all being so nice, and she said, "well, all he did was express sexual interest; not like he touched you, or raped you". I was like, WTF?? He's my mother's brother, for goodness sakes!

Anyway, I have a while to go with Chiron squaring my Ascendant. It just went retrograde, and the retrograde is usually the most powerful, so I'm not looking forward to it. Combine that with T Uranus conjunct my natal Moon and Neptune squaring my Chiron, I"m in for a bumpy ride!

Interesting.......I wouldn't say I am a big fan of chiron; its more like I am very intrigued and fascinated by it and trying to understand it.

I too have chiron in the 6th and it opposes my chart ruler conjunction between Jupiter and uranus in the 12th and this conjunction also conjuncts my AC.

I never had an eating disorder although some people suspected I did I am sure bc I was underweight my whole life until I reached 23 years of age and after a few months of dating my husband my appetite opened up.....my parents eat boring food so I guess I just never had a big appetite bc of it; at least that didn't help.

However, until 23 everyone was trying to get me to gain weight so it did affect my self esteem..I had a very goood self esteem as a child bc my dad did a good job in that sense but that all went to waste in a way bc of everyone focusing on my weight blah blah blah...if you met me one way why are you trying to get me to gain weight? I guess my husband and I just started to eat out a lot and it happened naturally but he never told me he wanted ME to gain weight, ever; I felt he liked me as I was; perhaps that was the KEY! He healed that wound that I had carry around all through my teenage years.

Maybe that is why after him I was able to let go and my appetite opened up!

Interesting!

Chiron is in my 9th house. I was an imaginative, quiet and introverted child and teachers were always on my case that I didn't talk enough etc., my parents were always defending me and trying to find good schools for me, because I do have an unusual mind and learning style. Primary education was very difficult for me, but University was much better because no one cares who you are and takes you at face value.

I have Chiron square Sun, Mercury, and trine Venus, conjunct MC. So I resonate with this energy. It has gotten better each year though. After graduating Uni., being able to also learn on my own has healed a lot of the wounds of my 9th house Chiron, I can learn all I want without teachers giving crap. My self-confidence isn't where I want it, but I'm working on it...Chiron square Sun and Sun in 12th can do that, I don't think I'll ever heal the self-confidence wound completely, but Chiron wounds never completely heal anyways.

I have Chiron in the 7th/Aries, on the 8th house cusp. It squares my Sun, qc my Moon, opposes Isis and widely opposes Uranus (6 degrees). I have Moon, Venus and SN in the 12th house. I have a lot of past life pain around relationships that needs to be healed in this lifetime. For the most part, relationships have been painful for me, not just with partners but also with my Mother and Father (Sun and Moon). Not that my parents were abusive, just distant and negative. Most of this was so internalized I am only now starting to uncover it.

Chiron is stationed right now on my DSC and is going to retrograde over my Pallas (which I am really starting to look at as very significant) and oppose my Moon, any thoughts on this?

Imagine a key.

What does it look like?

Is it a skeleton key?

Or is it a rainbow key?

Does it matter?

Some keys are skeleton keys but they open doors to greener pastures.
And some rainbow keys open doors to mysterious levers which when pulled open trap doors below the puller.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" We scream as we fall through the chute into a room of never ending synchronicity and a labyrinth of deja vu.

Then we see the modern version of Chiron sitting at his desk, he is wearing a suite, and he means business. He pulls out his brief case and he says, "spit," and you spit but don't know why.

When you wake up, you know why, but you can't put it into words. You can only sit there and wonder what comes next.

That is like Chiron...about to make a point, it sounds so good, like you're about to say something great, but it never comes.

The gift is what it is...a bloody wound.
