I work in cell phone sales. I basically am that person that greets you when you walk into the store, saying, "Hi! Welcome to AT&T, I'm ____. What can I do for you today?"

Something I've noticed is that a lot of my coworkers, and those in other stores who do very well, are also Tauruses.

Maybe there are specific aspects that these people have that I'm not picking up on, because I don't go around at work asking to do people's birth charts, but I'm mainly noticing a pattern.

What do you guys think?

Gemini is good. Libra is better. Used cars, religions, ice cubes to Eskimos... Libra is the champ.

Virgo is the champ at haggling

Capricorn is the champ at closing

So what would you think about a Gem moon and Cap MC?

A Gemini moon should make people feel you're easy to talk to... Be careful not to talk so much you talk your way out of a deal though... Remeber that people buy from who they like and who they trust.

Not sure I can do the Cap MC justice... perhaps others can offer more guidance here... but it should see closing the deal as an important part of success in career, so it should be a good thing.

I'm a Virgo rising and a Virgo Moon. I have a friend who is Virgo Sun, Gemini rising, she embarrasses me often with her haggling! I never haggle.

What about real estate sales. I think I remember this being linked to Cancer or the 4th house?

I've always had a natural knack for it- been told I can read people really well and can quite easily sway them and change their minds. I'm really persistent too =X.

Virgo sun and mars
Libra moon, venus and mercury (moon conjunct venus 2 degrees )
Aries rising

New Moon & First Quarter types...

These Moon phases is what I've noticed in my years in the work force. They're the receptionists, or the people who answer the phone when you call in. First in line.

Im a Gemini Sun. I dont know to bargain.Bargaining/haggling makes me very guilty. Must be that second house Leo moon. And i cant sell any MATERIAL stuff like cars, pens, mobiles etc... But, BUT i can sell Ideas, dreams, image that u should create to increase yr worth. I can even sell u as a product n help u increase yr market value. But cars, pens and all i just cant.... the minute something is given a sell rate, i stumble. I feel guilty and wouldnt be able to sell the product. I wonder why this is. Some mental block.

Makes perfect sense to me. I'm lousy at selling for the sake of sales. I can only sell what I believe in. Where I'm good at is informing the client on what he needs to solve a problem and why this solves it better than that. I always figured it was the 8th house and Taurus and Scorp influences in my chart, but I do share your Leo moon.

Price may be king, but I prefer not to get calls at 11pm when something I sold breaks. I've lost sales sticking to my guns, but I've also retained clients... And won a few back when the other guys' stuff broke on a weekend.

First, believe in what you sell. Then worry about getting them to believe in you. Do that and you aren't going to need to worry about bargaining. You'll be able to show them the value.
