When do aspects take affect?

For example, let's say a person has Moon-Square uranus natally. This aspects signifies an early childhood trauma between the individual and their mother. Correct?

I have moon square uranus natally and I cannot recall any time where my mother abandoned me or made me feel like i always had to be emotionally distant.

So I'mm guessing my childhood trauma related to the moon-uranus square occurred in my infant days?

Another scenario is that my friend has moon-square uranus natally as well.

His mom died 3 days after Christmas out of the blue due to an aneurism.

Of course that immediate and unexpected disconnect would force him to display that moon-uranus square.

His mom died when he was 13 years old.

So with a of that being said, when do certain aspects take affect or better yet, when is the cut off age for each aspect?

Do you stop developing your natal aspects after the age of 25? I chose 25 because that's an old enough age where you're considered a full-grown adult.

If you're using astrology as a factual history book, you're using it differently than I do...

I'd read it more as this aspect can cause this condition or feeling in the subject, with one possible cause being thus and so...

Could I recommend? http://www.cafeastrology.com/natal/moonuranusaspects.html

A moon-uranus aspect could manifest in different ways. I have the trine.

My mum told me that certain events happened 5 months after I was born that brought a lot of changes in the house my parents were living at that time, it seems some people wanted to separate me from my mother.

Just to tell you that aspects could manifest in different ways. It doesn't mean that you WILL lose your mother if you have the moon-uranus aspect. Hope it makes sense.

It's difficult to narrow down one aspect to a specific manifestation. First of all, what are the orbs? If the square is greater than 4 degrees it isn't very strong. Even up to 7 degrees it can be valid but weak and not very important except when connected to other planets to complete an aspect pattern or configuration.

The thing I notice about Moon square Uranus people is that their intuitive ability is erratic and cannot always be trusted, except after conscious awareness of how this aspect works. They take things personally a lot without understanding the intentions of the others person. They jump to conclusions based on their innate emotional reaction, and misinterpret intentions. The situation is not always as it seems.

Anyway, how and when does as aspect take effect? It depends on the chart as a whole and the orbs, or strength, of the aspect. It's innate and unconscious as the urge to manifest is your original program. When another person comes into contact with you, or a transit of another planet or asteroid aspects a planet in your chart, the natal aspect is activated and therefore will manifest. If it involves a personal planet or personal point like the ascendant or involves an exact orb it will most likely be an innate quality of your personality, much stronger.

I feel like we "grow" into our natal aspects-as much as we become more aware of certain patterns of behaviour/situations manifesting in our lives.

Even if we have no psychological interest/insight,we become more aware of who we are and our "knee-jerk" reactions to things as we grow older.

So with that in mind, there is a certain mentality or mode of response that Moon-Uranus people have that is a recurring pattern in all.

It could have been re-enforced by the mother being absent, the mother being overly engaged in their lives or whatever.

The circumstances may be unique but they really do not matter as much as highlighting that there is a common thread with all.

So the "effect" of aspects could be internal/external. But they are likely to be recurring pattern in one's life.

As a Moon-Uranus person,I would guess that you find it challenging to keep to a schedule?

My mother was never distant. She was actually VERY protective of me. She's eccentric in the sense that I cannot figure her out emotionally. She has a Gemini stellium, 1st house with an Aries moon & I am mostly water and Earth. I guess the emotional security i needed, i didn't get because geminis are so light-hearted? Maybe as a infant i picked up on that? That's just my theory.

But to answer your question, actually not at all. Aside from my moon square uranus, i have a scorpio stellium in my 6th house! I breathe order and ruitine. The square pops up in my romantic relationships. I have my moon in libra (5th house) square uranus (8th house). I'm still not sure what I'm supposed to learn with this aspect. I am a Scorpio and my chart ruler is Venus in Scorpio. I crave intimacy so why punish me by throwing that nasty moon-uranus square with nasty uranus in my 8th house of all houses!

I know I'm supposed to learn detachment, but why? I guess TOO much closeness in a relationship isn't healthy. I also have a ton of Saturn aspects to my personal planets and Asc including a trine to my moon 1 degree so my insecurities force me to cling to my relationships a lot harder than I normally would. That 'knee jerking" reaction you mentioned is spot on when it comes to triggering this aspect. I always get extremely restless and paranoid and that uranus in the 8th makes me explode with anger like pluto would when I feel my partner disappeared on me (usually after 2 days tops). I always attracted uranian water types or for the first time ever and my most recent encounter, he's an Aquarius Sun, Venus (29th degree), and mars with a pisces moon and mercury! How uranian can you get! He does have a 6th house stellium as well with squares to his Sun, mercury, and Venus by pluto and saturn conjuncting his sun, moon, mercury, venus, it deludes a lot of that. Especially with a Virgo asc. His flightiness is still very much apparent though with all those Aqua placements. He loses all sense of time and will literally not call for a day or two. He looks at me like I'm a total nutcase when I have an emotional breakdown because of this. Haha

I always see their uranus either square my moon or my venus or for the first time with my Aqua, BOTH so I know there's a lesson I need to learn from that energy because despite having a fairly strong uranius influence (sextile sun, sextile to asc, Q mercury, semisquare mars) i am not confortable with its energy at all unless I initiate the distance. I only like uranus when I'm uranius This is horrible. The need for control is so subtle, but it's there.
