Topic: gemini moon. not communicative?

Umm...does gemini moon make a scorpio person hard to find what to talk about with? 'cause with this friend of mine it's only easy to talk when we're with more people. geminis are supposed to be communicative persons and definitely not the ones with whom you have to THINK what to say. weird is that i'm considering her one of my best friends, but it seems we have just that connection which keeps us friends and it's because we're classmates (we see each other daily) and in school everything is okay, but when we decide to hang out....ok, it's very tiring  and this friend is not very deep as a scorpio, I like to talk about those "big things" and she is not responding to my thoughts, either she is listening and thinking inside or she just thinks what the hell i'm talking about

*wonders which one of my classmates got into astrology *so, i'm a scorpio sun, gemini moon. i'm very deep tbh but i don't really like sharing it with people, because i feel uncomfortable talking about my deepest and most private thoughts so nobody knows about them. i assume your classmate is the same - she feels awkward sharing such private things with people because she is afraid they won't get her.
in school it's probably easier for you to talk because they are other people, who can take part in your convos, you can talk about the teachers etc, and it's probably awkward for you to talk comfortably out of school because you don't have much in common or maybe just don't click. been there, done that IP: Logged |

yeah...maybe. at first when i met her things were the same, but i thought maybe she just needs time to uncover herself, but...she didn't or it's just her natural state.and actually we never talk about school or teachers or anything of that area, in fact we're quite close, because i can be totally silly with her and we are not awkward in person. what bothers me is that we have not much intellectual connection and - what's most important to me - emotional connection. really strange :? I've heard that if Gemini Sun talks to OTHERS too much, Gemini Moon talks to THEMSELVES too much. Not all will be the same, but I am a Gemini moon. I get deep, very deep. But the thing is, it's like what was said. I generally keep it to myself. My imagination gets so crazy that I'm afraid to share it AND I get misunderstood a lot. I can jump from A to P, to E, and down to X in about 10 seconds. I'm used to people being bewildered not with what I'm saying, but rather, "How the hell did he even get there?" Randomness up the wazoo. The other thing is this. I'm so curious about the world. So many things interest me. I can't wait to learn the next little tidbit or funny fact. I do go deep, but I choose what I want to go deep with. Something that I feel is worthy of my time. In fact, here on LL as an example. I don't mean to be rude to anyone... I really don't. But sometimes I will see a subject that I'm like, "Hmmm... I'll check it out." I open it and it's like a chapter in a book. My thoughts? "Pfffft.... jeez. I don't have time to read all this." and I move along. Or just skim through instead. Oh, and sometimes when I'm listening to something deep. I'm simply absorbing. As a Gemini moon, (speaking for myself). Sometimes I don't feel the need to speak, though I do talk a lot with those I'm extremely close to.
I'm simply absorbing, while feeling the person out. If they are still hanging around and not getting some kind of blank stare and looking all around, you're probably good then.  We go deep in thought, but if it seems like going deep with a silly subject, we'll drift off. IP: Logged |

people who have planets in gemini are known to act differently around different people. she might not be deep and insightful with you, but she might be with someone else. it's totally up to the way she perceives you. if she thinks she can't talk with you about more serious issues, maybe it's partly your fault.IP: Logged |

those geminis...know two friends born on a exactly same date and both of them are mercurian (sun gemini, moon virgo), but they're TOTALLY different, like one is like shining and talking a lot around people and does crazy stuff and is witty, self-confident, while the other is a "loner in a crowd". too harsh maybe, but it's that he's much more quiet and needs time to open up and even then you can only see a glimpse of what he's thinking and i guess he's thinking A LOT, but doesn't say that. anyway, i'm not struggling with talking with both of them.if it's some kind of my fault, don't know what could it be. actually, i thought i am wasting my time talking about deep things, 'cause she doesn't seem to get it. or i'm just taking it too seriously IP: Logged |

Just because someone's a Scorpio doesn't mean they are deep, the same with all the signs. There is always going to be differences. Cancer's are suppose to be clingy and weepy or Pisces are suppose to be drunks and escapist. I have both these signs in my chart and I'm neither of these things. So back to your friend, a deep person has deep aspects, not so much signs, although they definitely add or take away from it -- Gemini is not a deep sign, not like Virgo, you need other things in the chart to produce a deep Gemini. You should find maybe Mercury/Saturn, Mercury/Pluto, or Black Moon Lilith aspecting personal planets can make someone very profound, 3rd/9th axis and planets in these houses can make depth in a person, even 8th/12th house can do the same. Moon/Pluto, Moon/Saturn, Venus/Saturn also adds deep ness to thoughts.I have a Gemini Moon, I don't talk a lot, I rather listen, but I'm very much processing everything I'm hearing, feeling, and seeing even though I might appear that I'm "DOA". It's all being back-logged so I can think about it when I have alone time. I think this is more a Water/Air combination thing though. I talk the most to people I'm comfortable with, this is more a Water issue, but if I feel close to someone I can talk a lot especially if I find they know many things and are intriguing. Your friend has the same Water/ Air thing as well, so maybe that is what is going on, you should ask them. Some people with Gemini planets don't mind you asking them questions. I know few Gemini moons. My husband is one. He doesnt talk all that much. I do all the talking and he listens lol.But he has this sort a subtle gesture....I would get it. Others wouldnt. They dont show their feelings/emotions to the world. Doesnt mean they dont have them. Geminis as such hide their feelings really well. If u r around them most of the time that means u guys are good. I'm gonna have to agree with a lot of the posters here. I'm a Gem moon and I find it very easy to strike up a conversation with anyone (who can actually keep a conversation flowing). However, it's mainly small talk. I don't ever divulge personal thoughts, feelings, or experiences with those I don't feel incredibly intimate with and who've gained my trust. Another thing, too, I'm actually a little shy. I don't exactly know what to talk about with people when I first meet them or I'm first left alone with them, and I don't want to talk about all deep, dark things because I'm afraid I'll overwhelm you or scare you away. I'm a very deep, dark thinker so it's difficult for me to find a socially acceptable balance. If you want her to open up more, show that you're trustworthy (never talk about others badly or their business), don't prod too much, and give her time to get close to you. When I'm with a group of people, it's very easy for me to be more outgoing and have a full-on conversation with you. If it's just me and you, I get a little more shy and introverted because then the pressure's really on. Also, as per usual, I agree with DeepFreeze lol. Gemini Suns DO talk to others too much, and as a Gemini moon, I talk to MYSELF too much. The best conversations I've ever had were with myself  IP: Logged |

Agree again! What degree is your moon anyway? Mine is 26.xxI'm afraid people will think I'm nuts if I share my dark side... Even just my dark, twisted sense of humor. And one on one... Nailed it. Not a comfortable feeling.

Yeah because it's like, "are they going to understand me? Follow my path of thinking? Get my jokes?" Sometimes it's like I try to be airy, light, funny, and social but people can't follow along because of the jumping around in my head. Like they are trying to figure out the path rather than the final arrival of thought.
Then I have to explain why I said what I did, why I think it's funny. .. And it's just really awkward.

omg you just hit the nail on the head lol. I've recently started a new job and that's always stressful for me because if I don't feel like I get along well or fit in well with my coworkers, I'll be miserable working with them, so I try very hard to come off in the best way possible to get along with them. A lot of times, they don't get my jokes at all because I've got a crude, sarcastic sense of humor. What I have noticed, though, the few people who have gotten my sense of humor and clicked with me immediately were Gem suns. So my moon probably contacts their sun in some way! IP: Logged |

I'm a Gem Moon too, and I totally agree with a lot of stuff said on here. I don't actually talk that much either, except if something really has me going or I'm around people I'm comfortable with. I have no problem really striking up a conversation with someone, and usually people can tell right away that I'm incredibly easy to chat with, but deep down I actually feel a bit 'put off' by small talk. I don't really like it too much, and I feel like I don't know how to keep a conversation going. I'll ask questions and pipe in and stuff, but I'm usually the one listening. Sometimes I don't feel the need to talk either. And sometimes when that happens, people get the wrong impression and think I'm down or something. I think I too am simply just allowing myself to absorb and process the information I'm gathering around me. I don't spill my guts or reveal stuff about myself to people either. I'm a private person, as my Gem Moon resides in 12H. I don't want people to think ill of me if they truly knew my problems, so I always try to appear happy-go-lucky even if I'm shy. Some people probably do think I only have few emotions, or few ways of expressing myself, but little do they know how incredibly sensitive and emotional I actually am. Unfortunately, it usually has to be a facade. I don't want to burden people with my problems, and I learned as I matured that I can't do that anymore it seems because when I was younger I was less afraid of talking about my emotions/life that it actually scared people off/turned them off. I appeared intense without really meaning to, and looking back it landed me in hot water. I don't think it should have because it was all about trying to be honest and open up, but there are always people out there who are perhaps more afraid of intense displays of emotion that I am, and that surprises me.
