You have a very Capricorn-rich cart.1.Mars is said to be "exalted" in Capricorn.
2.Saturn is in its domicile place in Capricorn
3.You have a stellium of planets in Capricorn of which both Mars and Saturn are a part of.(Mars, Uranus, Neptune and Saturn)
4. The ruler of the stellium is Saturn.
With Capricorn energy, Saturn issues become prevalent; the Father, the boss, authority figures, Career, achievement etc.
The individual will either have good/bad relations with the above issues.Its unlikely that the individual will be indifferent however.
Your transits.
You have trans Neptune currently conjunct your Sun in Pisces- this is fitting as it represents that there is a "change" in the status of the ego. It could also suggest a loss in a ego title(in this case your job)

My contract ended when Jupiter was opposing my Mercury and I was very happy to leave. I guess if Saturn formed harsh aspects with it,it would have left a bitter taste in my mouth?
If your time of birth is correct,transiting Jupiter is crossing the MC/IC axis;this could indicate a move or an initiative to change the home life.
It could also indicate that you have faith in your own capabilities and may decide to expand yourself in a differing career direction.
But this "confidence" is likely to be affected by the Saturn transit;as your chart is very Saturn strong.
